Yes... he did. memphis switched on everything which took us out of our motion strong offense which is predicated on getting either our first option (shooter top of the key off the double screen) or second option (reset pick and roll). switching on all screens took those away. then we ran the flex or 3 or 4 sets.

But he did get over the screen and chased his man off the 3 point line. I appreciate the effort.

no, he didnt... in fact we went under 90% of the screens basically daring them to shoot threes until mid 4th when they started to hit some.

don't let the facts get in the way. RHJ will be doomed to the IR from now til he's 32 and washed up somewhere in the Israeli league

I've noticed people on this forum specifically don't understand injuries. I can see why they have panic b/c of chronic situations like Lin and Jack and Deron and Lopez.

you've noticed from when? which of your previously banned accounts did you notice it under?

you are not fooling anyone

RHJ is a PF... if he cant stay healthy as a PF we should trade him. he has little to no value as a SF.

Basketball is a sport that puts a lot of wear and tear on the human body and injuries that cannot be prevented occur at times. You can't prevent it when some guy lands on another guy's foot, or if a player catches a knee to the hip or a bone on bone collision between two knees.

It happens. It sucks, but I think it gets overblown any time someone gets hurt as if these injuries could be prevented by the training staff or the coaches. Like with Lin, there was a remark or two about the Nets training staff...as if a patella tendon rupture is something that can be feasibly prevented. You can have the right amount of training, stretching, diet all of that and you can still go out there and tear up your ligaments on a normal play at any given time.

MDB If you were referring to my post hear me out. If not then disregard. I wasn't bagging RHJ. I love the fact the kid has spent the summer in the weight room and the gym working on his game. His finishing at the rim has improved ten fold. he is even starting to get some regular calls from the refs. As we all know we fans haven't had much to cheer about thanks to BK. But he left us a parting gift with RHJ. I'm super excited about the kid and his improvement. I just hope we don't kill the kid. He hurt his hip by banging with a big earlier this season. I'm thinking these little niggles will cost him frequently. RHJ and Levert are my favourite players because they are our draft picks from a bad time. I will never have a bad thing to say about these kids. Sure they have and will frustrate me. But I'm on their wagon from day 1. Same as Allen and whoever we draft with toronto's pick.

I wasn't singling you out or anything I just think that it's an overreaction to be a walking injury bug based off of him getting banged up a bit.

A sprained ankle is not the result of him banging with bigs though. The hip contusion is something to monitor, but it hasn't impacted his play in any way and I don't recall exactly what play caused the hip contusion. He has thrived as a PF and should continue to do so.

I think in general injuries cause overreaction. I think the Lin injury issues has us on edge a bit.

Tracking Players performance by GCP against the Grizzlies 26 Nov 2017

DMC - 48 (++)
Booker - 43 (+++)
Harris - 25 (=)
Dinwiddie - 20 (=)
Zeller - 17 (-)
CLV - 15 (=)
Mozgov - 8 (-)
Kilpatrick - 8 (-)
RHJ - 7 (--) (it sucks but he got injured)
Allen - 2 (-)

I think we got lucky that the Grizzlies shot as bad as they did. Credit to both DMC and Booker for bringing us the positives.
Stability is a myth perpetuated by the agents called homeostasis and status quo....

I still don't think it's a tough concept on how we should use RHJ.

PF on offense, SF on defense.

His biggest defensive plays have come against perimeter guys like in the Portland game when he got us the win with his D on Turner and Lillard (even in the loss later to them he played excellent D on Lillard in the 4th). He's not a great rebounder or rim protector at PF. So pair him with a guy who can defend the PF position and shoot from the perimeter and essentially be the SF on offense. Kinda like when we had Kenyon and KVH. Thing is, we don't have that guy yet. I just think he can cause much more havoc with his perimeter D.

Great so we need to find someone that can rebound and defend PFs and play SF on offense. Should be easy. Theres like two of them in the league - we should be able to snag one.

RHJ is fine as long as he can stay healthy. His play this year is literally the least of our concerns.

RHJ WILL have an injury prone career if Marks doesn't hurry up and find a better 4 & 5!! I mean RHJ is doing a fantastic job at the 4 but it's not sustainable.

his injury tonight was on a fast break. what does that have to do with playing PF?

he stepped on someones foot and rolled his ankle

Prok, As i've said else where, RHJ playing PF is not sustainable for the long term. Both for our team and RHJ. Rolling his ankle has nothing to do with playing the 4 100% agreed. But where did I say that his ankle injury had anything to do with playing the 4?
