I think TOR also wins 50, but we’ll win the tiebreaker, getting us the 2 seed. I think the East will be very competitive the whole season, with the 2-7 seeds all finishing within a few games of each other. Therefore, our hot start will hopefully help us out in the end.

1. BOS
2. DET
3. TOR
4. CLE
5. WAS
6. PHI
7. MIL
8. MIA

I got us going to the ECF, largely due to ideal matchups. We beat MIL and TOR in 7, get swept by BOS. I don’t think we can beat BOS, CLE or WAS in a 7 game series, but if we can avoid any of these 3 teams in the first 2 rounds, there’s a possibility of making a deep playoff run.

I think we can beat a Washington, the only two team I don't think we can beat is BOS or Clev. we need to get the 3 seed to make it to the ECF.

If we want to make it to ECF then we best be steering clear of the 3 seed. More than likely Cavs will be the 2seed and that spells disaster in the 2nd round.

your right, I like our chances against the Celtics minus Gordon Hayward than going against the then deep Cavs.

Basketball reference says our "expected" win-loss thus far based on our defensive and offensive ratings is 10-8. That's a 45-46 win pace for the whole season once luck and various other factors are "evened out" (which is essentially what Expected W-L does as a stat).

Given we've already exceeded that by 2 wins, we'll add those two wins to the expected total. 47-48 wins sounds reasonable to me, and we should all be pleased if that's what it ends up being.

I see us struggling a little bit from now til the end of december. other teams are scouting our offense and will adjust.

time will be needed to make some counter adjustement, IMHO.

40-50 wins as expected

Going into the season we were expected to be around .500 - same still applies.

How much better than that depends on how we handle those nights when things aren't going well.

We've had a few disappointments but thus far we seem like a much stronger unit mentally which should make a huge difference

Its amazing how close Vegas was on the preseason over/under being at 40.5 .... Most likely will finish with either 40 or 41 wins and be right on with that prediction.

With the last three games against teams who want to tank or rest their players, I'm hoping for 41-41.
Of course, we had to go to OT against a Dirk-less Dallas, so I probably shouldn't be so optimistiic.
