That last one is just unbelievable - pretty much Dennis, Minny and Houston 1sts for 2 2nds and 2 old dudes, smdh.

I could only think of Diesel wanting Dennis out this badly but I don't see a page long diatribe to justify the "logic" behind it so he gets a pass. I mean there are others but they are a tad more subtle and surely wouldn't burn the barn down just to get rid of a player they don't like. Find this person, Jay. We must....educate them.

Hey solar fans, Hawks fan here. Over at PTH and in the overall Hawks universe, we've come to the consensus that Dennis is a good player right now (average PG) with the ability to expand his game still and reach a higher ceiling, but that we need to trade him. We have a few disastrous contracts on our books and really need to clear at least one long-term salary and just someone who has soured in the eyes of us fans of fowl since he pushed (and succeeded) in getting rid of Teague and getting his shot. Looking across the league landscape, along with New Orleans and maybe Indiana, we saw you guys as one of the better fits. Yes, he has had his locker room issues - but most stemmed from disagreements with Dwight and being in a nightife, party centric town like Atlanta. We think that being in a more normal environment for less oppurtunity for screw ups would really benefit him. Its obvious you guys have need for PG, as Mike James is not the answer, and unless Collin Sexton is valued in your eyes (and the time to develop him), if even drops to the Miami pick, trade is the answer as none of the 2018 FA PGs will realistically come to Phoenix. I've heard rumors that Sarver and McDonough are zeroed in on cutting salary as they are targeting summer of 2019 to splurge. Ive come up with a few trade proposals. Please provide thoughts and responses to both the player and the trades.

I'm not completely opposed to trading Dennis for the right deal, but people have to realize that we are now in the business of acquiring young talent not unloading it. Paying Dennis is what we want to do. paying vets and underperformers is what we don't want to do.

Any deal that sent Dennis out would have to see equal but different talent coming back OR draft pick(s) that are likely to be of equal or better talent in the future. Dennis isn't second round talent.

"Tnacho" needs to turn in his Hawks fan card and complimentary tire discount.

Look at the rest of his gems:
INDIANA receives: Dennis Schroeder, 2020 top 10 protected ATL 2nd rounder (sweetner) ATLANTA receives: Al Jefferson (presuming he would be waived immediately by Schlenk)

NEW ORLEANS receives; Dennis Schroeder, 2019 ATL top-10 protected 2nd rounder, Nicolas Brussino ATLANTA receives: Rajon Rondo (to be immediately waived), E'Twaun Moore, Alexis Ajinca (to be waived upon the conclusion of the season with 1-yr remaining)

https://www.peachtreehoops.com/2017/11/13/16646684/dennis-schroeder-kent-bazemore-cap-clearing-trades

Phoenix fans are aghast. They are jumping for joy at such a proposal then taking a moment to wonder why the value is so low for Dennis. They are speculating that he has to secretly be Charles Manson in the locker room for this to even be a possibility.

Dennis is a top fight future point guard. I'm not trading him for a couple of draft n stash second round euros...if the 2018 draft is set tonight and somebody wants to give us a top 5 pick then we can talk.

*ahem* Jay and especially I staked out real estate here a loooong ways back, already built gazebos and tree houses and whatnot in our yards already. Don't you dare include our good names amongst the rest of you carpetbagging gypsies (though Jay still laments having to sell her mansion over on Madison. Down economy and all that).

Lol...I once was a realgm property owner as well in 2007...then somebody pissed me off about Yi Jianlian and picking him 3rd in that draft..that's all I recall.

Considering your Nor'eastern lineage, I find your use of 'carpetbagger' particularly clever yet wildly offensive. Respeck.

Plus, wasn't it about time somebody renovated the rickety ol' house on the corner. Surely you and Consuela were tired of walking your poodle past the overrun lawn and unkempt azaleas.

Nah sarcasm is denoting using a light green font.

This is what it would look like if I was being sarcastic.

So essentially, the trade would be ole Shrewd for Sexton and fillers. Depends on if the Suns even like Schroder as their point of the future.

1. Welcome (back?) to the board.
2. I like the sound of that trade.
3. Don't sleep on Trae Young out of Oklahoma as Travis Schlenk's version of Steph Curry.

Could we somehow wrangle Malik Beasley from DEN? He's buried there but I think he could be an interesting pickup for us considering we need a guard upgrade.

I get the sense that there's an irrational love for him over there similar to Ainge and Rozier. It's like "yea he doesn't play because of the depth there but boy oh boy I've seen him in practice! We'll take take 3 1sts or Anthony Davis for him."
