Sucks he wasnt putting up huge numbers but his percentages were coming back and he was playing great D. And his shoe game was great this year. New pair every day.

That sucks. The only two good defenders are out.

Didn't look that bad but his reaction was. He was walking on it afterwards though and got to the lockerroom in his own power which gave me hope he would be ok but apparently not.

I'd rather give J.I. extra minutes at the 3, and find someone else the back up 4 minutes (maybe Mario).

Hope you get better soon, Ross.

Yikes, wasn't expecting him to have a fracture. That will definitely complicate his recovery. Luckily, he probably won't need surgery. If it had just been a sprain, we might be looking at at least 2 months. But the fracture could push him to 3-4 months. Wouldn't be surprised to see him as non-weight bearing with crutches. Huge blow for us. His defense was really important and his shooting was starting to come around. Yet another opportunity for Mario Hezonja to step up. Need Isaac to get back soon too.

Actually, given production based on this alone, Hezonja should have huge edge over AA who fall of the cliff so badly. Guy shoots 30% FG on 1,9 ppg and has 16 fouls on 30 points. He is actually one of players who can challenge Lonzo for worst percentage in nba .

Anyway, hoping that Ross will come back soon ( probably out for two months at least tho )

Ugh, that sucks. We don't have the depth to lose glue 3&D guys like him right now.

I wonder if Iwundu is going to get minutes?

This suuuuuucks. Ross has been an under the radar top glue guy for us this season. We need more of him, not less.

I know Afflalo is in pretty poor form, but he's not Jeff Green bad in my eyes. Also, seeing his veteran leadership with AG last night demonstrated the kind of value he could bring that won't show up in the box score. Plus, when he wants to turn it on defensively he can do pretty well. Had a couple great defensive plays where he kept guys locked on the perimeter last night.

I see this as a prime opportunity for Jonathan Issac once he’s back. Accelerating his learning curve could be very good tactically for the Magic. Afflalo can hold the fort down also, Ross has been good defensively, so putting Issac there makes sense. We definitely need to see what Issac has at the 3!
