If we had one loss with our schedule last year, say to Michigan but beat Ohio State and Penn State in the B1G Championship, we would've been in with one loss. With this schedule? Don't think there would be any way of getting in with one loss.

Sure, but in this case there would be a way in.

If, in theory, we were 11-1 with a close loss to Michigan...and Georgia wins, TCU wins, and Stanford wins (keeping USC out of the conversation). Say Clemson wins but that one doesn't matter in this scenario.

Who is in?

Georgia, Alabama, Clemson are locks. Then it's basically between Wisconsin, TCU, Oklahoma, Miami, and maybe a 3-loss Auburn? There's a shot the Badgers get picked out of that group.

TCU would be the only conference champ and their schedule was almost as bad and they have 2 losses.

There'd be a non-zero chance of getting in is all I'm saying. It would actually be reasonable. I'm sure the committee would take TCU or maybe still Oklahoma, but we'd have a gripe if nothing else.

Yeah, I was simply saying there was a path at one time to get in with 1 loss. That path is gone now that we've gotten to this point.

http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/21619748/ohio-state-quarterback-jt-barrett-surgery-play-big-ten-title-game

Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett underwent minor knee surgery Sunday, a source confirmed to ESPN, but coach Urban Meyer says he will play against Wisconsin in the Big Ten championship game Saturday.

Barrett's surgery to clean up his injured right knee went well over the weekend, the source said, and Ohio State decided Barrett's status would be determined by how he responded during the week of practice. The Columbus Dispatch first reported news of Barrett's surgery.

Meyer said in a radio appearance Thursday that Barrett has been cleared.

"He's going to play in the game," Meyer said.

We could fund another billboard full of bulletin board material and it wouldn't cover it.

FWIW, I watched the Ryen Russillo show and both he and Johnathan Vilma picked Wisconsin to beat Ohio St.

That said, i have no idea what to expect. I could just as easily see the Badgers winning a close game or Ohio St. winning say 31-17.

Two factors i see deciding the game, turnovers and whether the Badgers can run the ball consistently.

I think this one has to be a close game with how great the Badgers defense is. I'm worried about them scoring but I have a feeling they win a close one.

Badgers - 23
OSU - 20

How amazing would it be to see Wisconsin run wild on OSU tomorrow, would love to see Tebow trip all over his stupid ass self trying to justify his awful takes.

I got UW, 31-16, no homer. They're a really good team. Great average scoring margin and game control stats for such a run-heavy team. Dominant defense. Much better athletes at receiver and db than a typical good UW team. Only now starting to play their best football. Doing all this despite being 2nd in the Big Ten in turnovers. Clean that up and they're dominant. Don't go by reputation. This is a different UW squad. Normally you know in your heart of hearts that a good qb is going to eat them up, but I don't see nearly the same level of vulnerability this year (though admittedly it is still there), and Barrett is hurt anyway.
Wut we've got here is... faaailure... to communakate.
