We have enough wiggle room to have these kind of losses? Such a soft mentality. Its not like they played their hearts out and another team just outplayed them...there was no effort and let a 3rd string backup point guard put them away in the fourth basically because their star was out. Losses like these are losses this team has to get away from, if they're really going to be anything.

Too many losses like this one is how they find themselves on the outside looking in.

What are we the F'n warriors from a couple years ago where they are just dominating everyone? We will cool off and lose games every now and then man it's the NBA

To dominate every night? No. To bring a professional effort every night, hell yes. Are you kidding me? Especially with a team like like this....its become way too much of a habit over the years.

Its not the end of the world but doesn't change the fact, its really scary when the team has performances like this because it brings up old habits. Orlando...remember their hot streak to start the season? Then they had a bad loss like this....which turned into 2 and then 3 and then oh snap 9 game losing streak. Remember Memphis hot start? Turned into one bad loss...then 2....then 4...then 8. Come with professional effort every night...that's all that's expected. When you come out with piss poor efforts in tough stretches like the one they're facing....it could easily get out of hand.

That's all I'm saying. Look at the rebounding numbers...Ish missing 3 straight free throws and then the next time to the line a lane violation as your best player is at the line. All with their best player out. Its a bad Loss....no other way to put it. Move on and try to recover tomorrow.

Yeah but you hate everything and wait for the right time to hate anyways and thought you abandon ship a while ago anyways

The most frustrating part is that this was the easiest game of that stretch :banghead:

Honestly was ready to after the unprofessional effort in the Philadelphia game. To this date, the worst performance I've ever seen from a team effort wise. But they responded with 3 very good, very professional efforts following which brought me back. Don't expect to win every night....just want effort. That's too much for a fan to ask for?

Don't try to act like I haven't been here for 8 horrible season after season. Been here for way longer than 8 but the last 8 have just been....really sad.

And then we turn around and play great against a team you had pegged as a loss. Can't try to figure it out in your head.

Bad losses make tough wins irrelevant.

I'm not gonna flip out... you guys know I don't get real high or real low about individual games. But this is still annoying. That third quarter was straight pitiful.

Stanley with another rough game from what I saw. Lots of ugly misses and getting his shot blocked. Hopefully he can start to figure things out offensively or SVG gonna find something elsewhere lol

Honestly starting to feel like Stanley should only be playing 24 MPG at most unless we really need his defense for a specific player. Luke and Tolliver could both get more minutes and I'd be happier.

It would be interesting to compare a list of folks here in this thread and see if they posted nearly as much if at all in the threads where Pistons win. There is a few names in this thread that I don't remember being in the recent big win threads.

Wizards are a bad match-up for us. Drummond struggles with physical centers bodying him up, Morris will bully around Harris and double team Dre for rebounds essentially and Porter is too long for Johnson. And Wall didn't even play. I expect another rough game from Dre against Embiid tonight as well but then the next four he should be okay.

Wizards are a team we need a bigger four and maybe shift Harris back to the three for.

Dre seemed to be hustlin hard and played well from what I watched. Hope he's got enough gas in the tank to get some revenge on Embiid tonight ;)

With Wall out, our back court should have destroyed Washington- who are already thin on the bench for backups. But, AB and RJ both had bad nights on offense.

Gortat always has good games against us. It's almost a given. He's like Dre's kryptonite.

This was a game we should have been able to win. Regardless of how anyone wants to break it down.

We played a good second quarter. Not enough to win a nba game.

Stanley Johnson offense worries me a little bit. Completely unable to use his body over smaller defenders or to dribble against bigger defenders.

Come trade deadline if Stanley doesn't start to pick it up, SVG is gonna have to look to get us a real SF. Stanley and or Ellenson and our pick so we're not playing 4 1/2 on 5 every night. Stanley, on offense, stinks.
