The effort Chandler put in today? He wants to be in Boston.

He might. So might Monroe. But I sure don't see how any trade would be possible given cap restrictions.

Done? He just dropped 14pts and 18rbs on 7-10 shooting in just 26 minutes on the court. That’s incredible production.

Dude is a baller. Much better than Baynes in terms of rebounding and rim protection..we can only hope dude gets bought out and we have a chance to pick him up. Would be a terrific addition.

Has he even played 15 games for us this year? You got to give the man some time to get fully healthy and familiar with the system. Unlike the other guys he didn't get a preseason, he didn't get a training camp and he's learning on the fly with limited practice time. I thought today was the best he ever looked in terms of ball movement. Made the extra pass quite a few times. Defensively his strength is man to man like you said, he is no Draymond Green on team D..but he should improve on that as we go deeper into the season.

Future superstar in the making

He's a taller Ray Allen ..superb shooting and all-around game, team-first dude. Loving me some JayT

Ray Allen?!

I can't think of a better player comp silky smooth can can move and score like Ray from anywhere at super high rate. He's longer than Ray, has clutch gene ...already defends as good or BETTER than Ray ...rich man's (scoring) Tobias Harris was all I could come up w aft SL. He like a long small forward version (skinnier 19yrs) of Ray Allen
I can easily see JT being as good as JShuttles

Suns aren't going to buy out Chandler this year, and he doesn't seem interested in being bought out. Last year the Suns had a trade in place to send him to a playoff team and he turned it down.

Guy can still play, and he is the type of player who is better when he is with a great PG / teammates (see his play w/ Dallas, NOP vs. his time in NY/CHI/PHX) but I don't see a path to Boston getting him this year.

Next year? At that point, he's an expiring and Phoenix still probably isn't contending for a playoff seed. If that's the case, I could see Ainge trying to add him in some sort of trade / buyout deal.

You can have him this year, but you would have to trade something. No point in the Suns giving up something for nothing just to help the Celtics out of the goodness of their hearts. For now, Chandler is a nice addition. For the Suns. But Chandler and Monroe are a bit redundant.

The Celtics are 20-4. They can use help - like everybody- but they can obviously wait until the deadline. No point in the Celtics giving up something substantial when teams will be letting veterans go for nothing and the Celtics have that Hayward money
Brad Stevens on fans who want the Celtics to tank: "I don’t think they’ll like me all that much then."
