From what I know, and I admit it's not from my friends in the Yankees, but rather my cousin via Michael Kay

He's a nice man

nope, it didn't matter. The ONLY way he would he had even a slim chance to keep his job is if he swept through the playoffs. And that was never going to happen.

that's obscene. I guess I'm biased towards Joe despite his screw ups because he's an old Yankee, so I was kind of put off by his ouster.

So Cashman just wants someone who will manage strictly based on the analytics and just to keep guys pumped up? I definitely agree with Ror that Joe shot himself in the foot several times. Maybe Boone who is younger will approach things differently.

Cashman has done such a fantastic job at rebuilding that at this point you really have to just see how things work out with Boone.

So McAdoo is about to get fired.

Frankly, the Giants have been on a bunch of nonsense going back to the way they hesitated to cut Josh Brown once it became known that he was a wife beater. They failed to reel Odell in, the GM has drafted poorly overall, areas of dire need have been ignored for years and they treated Eli Manning like dog **** last week with what they pulled. Ownership seems to get a pass but the fish rots from the head down, always.

Dragon Ball Super: I would have preferred if only
Spoiler:
one of the Namekians got their power from absorption. I wanted the other to have trained his strength so it gives Piccolo something to do in the future.

Spoiler:
I loved the scene where Piccolo got knocked out and had the vision where he saw Kami, Nail, and the old Namek elder. that was a great cameo.

Gohan and Piccolo versus the Namek dudes was an awesome battle, finally Gohan has gotten back to his Majin Buu saga form and seeing Piccolo blast those dudes with the Makankosappo (special beam cannon) was really good. I hope Gohan finally starting to use his power leads into the final showdown with Jiren and the Pride Troopers. Goku can't do it by himself even with Ultra Instinct.

Now Universe 6 is gone and Vegeta is pissed. I like where the story is going. they'll be back, Planet Salada Saga seems like a must.

Even Beerus wasn't pleased by the erasure.

but Whis' sister Vados is a real ass hole. she trolled Champa right up until the end

Good choice. I'm a huge boxing fan but I don't think I'd go to that event for free. MSG is super close to me but now that NY is getting a ton of fights, this one wasn't worth it. Main event was solid though.

Dragon Ball Super

Spoiler:
Well well, that was a freaky, final transformations by U2 lol... They had a great farewell, well fought. I'm surprised the demise of such "good hearted" fighters hasn't gotten Goku a little bit angry or second guessing himself(unless he too planned for the revival of all the universes) it would be a nice character conflict for Goku to change things up.

Heck even Vegeta showed remorse.

U6 demise, adios. I'm actually surprised they were on the out this early with two other universes remaining aside from U11.

Luv the throwback for Piccolo and the father/son Kamehamaha tandem.

I still wonder if Hit is truly eliminated? but he was vanquished by Zeno afterall... damn i guess those theories about him leaving a double in the timeskip may be thrown away

It was a good fight, but the seats available weren't to my liking so I passed. I actually can get club box seats in Philly when the Nets play the Sixers in March so i may take the road trip.

Cotto will be missed, dude was a warrior. I still remember how he fought up to round 11 versus Margarito despite the fact that the dude was cheating (and possibly could have killed him) by having loaded gloves. Cotto was bloodied but still hung in there

I admit i'm a little worried about it. Like many across the world, Boone's lack of coaching experience scares me. But i guess here we go?

Hensley Meulens though checked off a lot of positives. I'm surprised he didn't get the real consideration unless he didn't sell it at the interview or perhaps the Boone pick was a lock from the get go? Hensley speaks like 5 languages, he would've had a good go here for sure.

Not the biggest fan for Joe Giradi but even i thought he deserved one more year with this crew. He works much better with younger players than with the older ones IMO.

Hit is as good as dead at this point. Hopefully Vegeta can somehow get his wish to bring back Universe 6.

At this point, I'm just hoping that someone in the various Universes left yells out "**** you, Zeno," right before they get erased.

Dragon Ball Super

Spoiler:
Gohan finally got a moment. The Father-Son Kamehameha was awesome. I loved how all of a sudden he just goes Mystic and starts whupping the Namekians.

Still not sure what Frieza's plan is, he keeps saying he wants Goku to win, but what does that get him at the end of the day?

Spoiler:
Freeza doesn't want to die via erasure. He also has some kind of plan to screw with the gods. Once he was able to wield that destructive power when he and Goku got jumped by those assassins several episodes back he's been plotting something.

and yeah Gohan was incredible. the animation was so smooth too. great fight
