Game 25 : Phoenix Suns at Philadelphia 76ers, Monday, Dec. 4, 7:00PM

Post#1 » by Saberestar » Mon Dec 4, 2017 12:16 pm

The 76ers (13-9) have arguably the best tandem of young players in the league.

Center Joel Embiid is averaging 23.1 points and 11.3 rebounds per game while point guard Ben Simmons is the runaway leader for the Rookie of the Year award.
Simmons is averaging 17.9 points, 9.4 rebounds and 7.1 assists per game despite the fact he’s 0 for 8 from 3-point range on the season. Simmons’ ability to post up will be a huge challenge for guard Tyler Ulis and Mike James, both of whom will have at least a 10-inch size disadvantage.

The Suns have lost five of their past six games and are in the midst of a season-long, six-game road trip that concludes with a back-to-back Tuesday in Toronto.

Center Alex Len, who was held out of the loss to the Celtics with soreness in his left ankle, will play Monday against the 76ers, Triano said.

I'll be at this game since I'm on the east coast for a work trip. Gonna make the drive to Philly from Baltimore. Lower level tickets for pretty cheap, surprised I was able to grab them for so low. Hope to post some photos/videos. Go Suns!

Should be an interesting game. I expect a close down to the wire game where we(76ers) pull-away late.

They could put Covington on Booker, let JJ cover Ulis and Simmons cover Warren. Or that latter two switched.

Covington's 9th in the league in DRPM and far and away the best SF in that regard. Look at his separation from the pack. http://www.espn.com/nba/statistics/rpm/_/sort/DRPM/position/5

I’m sure you won’t see Ulis checking Simmons regularly. Better he’s on Redick, while Warren gets Simmons and Booker on Covington.

We need 50 points from Book&TJ to win this one.

And it would be great if another player can give us good offense, a third good option.

Sixers are a very legit team. Strongest SOS so far and 7-3 last 10. We will likely get pretty messed up in this one.

TJ is taking a lot of threes lately. Good start for him, not sure why he is coming out so early.

Len draws the 3 point play, gets a high five from Ulis, gets to Book and only gets a serve for what looked like not setting a screen lol.

Missed some easy shots for him too. He was too hot lately, so due for a bad game.

9 extra shots from rebounds and turnovers.

Booker 2-11 getting Covington but it allows Warren a good match up and he went 3-3 before being sat.

Scores even at QT.
