Ball hits a 3.... Hastings says "And you can't give Ball space. He's got a slower release and because of that you just can't give him space."

I must have blacked out the last few weeks. Why in the world can't we give Ball space???

Heard this too and laughed. Also heard the same announcer say, "Ingram's not looking to get to the rim." When getting to the rim is the only great thing Ingram does.

And sheeeesh, who is that sideline reporter? My goodness.

I love how a guy the Nuggets passed on drafting is burning us on our home floor.

15:0 run in last 4 minutes... Credit to Murray, and season-best game from Lyles.

Next match is also must-win vs weak team @Dallas before 5 very hard matches on the road vs playoff level teams.

Lyles had a real nice, but quiet game. He let the game come to him, I see a lot potential down the road for a 21yo PF.

That Gary Harris 360 just ignited the crowd, You''ll see that one on SportsCenter

Nice game - this is what to expect from a young team, with scattered veterans. Neither team shot well and Denver didn't rebound well at all. So how did we win? Lots of free throws and not very many turnovers (the latter is very important). It was a team win for sure. Six players in double figures and only Murray was over 20 pts.

Finally Lyles showed that soft touch game of his. He looked really good in summer league a few years ago but he usually looks so indecisive the last 1.5 seasons.

Back in 1st place in the division with tonight's win and POR's loss. We play a few easy teams but on the road where we're not great. MIN has some gimme teams so have to watch them, However, POR has 4-5 tough teams coming up, lets home they're in a crash-n-burn mode.

Hoops (oh the irony), always trying to put a negative spin of the Nuggets and their players. Who cares what he did with UTAH last season, he's showing the form most expected from him when he came out of Kentucky. In his time this season, he's shooting 48% from the field and 39% from 3, I see a lot of potential once he matures a bit more. Dude is just 21, has good stretch 4 size and is maximizing his PT when on the court. HM your ignorance is showing again....take your lack of Nuggets knowledge to a different forum, it's tiresome !!!!

Plumlee was solid with a team leading +28. He needs to improve his rebounding, but we had a few nice assists and was decent on the defensive end. He's no Jokic, but can give decent minutes against the lower-tier Centers like Lopez

Lyles quietly had a very good game last night, I'd really like to see him start at the PF position while Millsap is out. I know Faried wouldn't like this but he's our only "real" backup C while Jokic is out.

Lyles makes some sense with Plumlee's lack of shooting, but I doubt Malone has the balls to pull it off.

I honestly thought that once Kobe retired, that would change. Interesting.

The name "Lakers" has a long tradition, so band-wagon jumpers love it. But don't underestimate the number of California people that have moved to Colorado or at least have time-shares and condos and such here. Most of them in the mountains or in Colorado Springs, but there are still a lot of them around the Denver area.

Lakers always have a good turnout here, Lozno Ball has the hype machine up and running for the Lakers....However I feel like very very few people with SoCal origins would want anything to do with Colorado Springs.

There are a lot of high tech people that have moved there from the field I was in and there are a few rather large formerly SoCal Christians organizations that have moved there.

True...I was just making a quip that having lived in SoCal after growing up in Colorado Springs they are very very different worlds.

More like different planets  and I mean that with all the disrespect it might be taken for  but hey, there's loads of things in SoCal that don't exist on the front range - different strokes for different folks
