Ouch. How does that happen?

Me too. The thought of a big slilled bully down low to par with booker on the outside is nice.

How do you think Young would fit with Booker and the rest of the team? I heard he is ball dominant and don't play defense?

He's a boom bust guy who could be anywhere from Steph Curry to Kemba Walker to Aaron Brooks with similar style of play - primarily an outside shooter with good passing and defensive awareness but undersized.

He shot 27% at FIBA U18 and Nike Tournament in 9 games in the past year. So similar to Sexton I want to see his deficiencies in some bad games to see if he has the underlying potential to overcome them. I've noticed he struggles at the rim which is a major flaw for a PG.

But the thing to keep in mind is that we'd be picking him late lotto and 95% of those players never become stars so you may as well take a flier on an outlier type of player.

That is surprising Sexton finished 0-4 with 3 assists and 3 turnovers especially in a close game they lost to a mid major.

I am glad we didn't get Lonzo Ball. He has the potential to be a good player if he gets to the line, and gets better at shooting.

The biggest issue is his father. Dude is a loudmouth and stubborn.

He pulled LiAngelo from UCLA and said he is getting him ready for the draft.

He pulled LiAngelo because UCLA pretty much suspended him from basketball activities "Indefinitely" for his role in stealing from multiple shops in China. It wasnt just the one that they got caught at, but multiple shops. Guess that Big Baller money hasnt made it his way yet.

LaVar Ball told the Los Angeles Times and ESPN on Monday that he’s going to explore other options for LiAngelo because “I’m not going to let him sit back and not practice.”

The elder Ball says he hasn’t spoken to the school about withdrawing his son. “I’m taking him and I’m gone,” he told the Times.

Asked if LiAngelo agreed with the decision, the elder Ball told the Times, “My boy is loyal to me. I tried to let UCLA deal with the process and he should have been playing the next week.”

Should have been playing??? He was imprisoned in an international incident! Jeeze! The Bruins were already 7-1 without him. He deserved to be kicked off the team with the other two.

So glad we dont have to deal with Lavar. So So SO glad. We are already a **** show, the last thing we need is a Carney trying to run it.

Has any scout at any point in time ever saw Gelo has NBA talent?

I remember haven't barely even heard of the Ball name when I started looking into Lonzo and found out about his family. I watched one of those Chino Hill games and knew right away Gelo was trash.

Apparently he'll do the same with LaMelo. Wow.
LaVar is just nuts.

.....and i was just reading how the Lakers have implemented a Lavar Ball rule. They now no longer allow the media to sit in the Friends and Family and Agents section to limit the Lavar soundbites and criticism of the team, lol.

http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/21664590/los-angeles-lakers-enforcing-called-lavar-ball-rule-staples-center

And here the Lakers said that Lavar was going to be hands off and not impact the franchise in anyway.... i think we all knew better.

I wish RealGM had the search function as I was one out against Ball at times 6 months ago for what I thought were good reasons. If NBA teams didn't get a sports psych to talk to him during visits they were negligent and Lakers may have made a generational mistake by believing a false narrative.

Jesus. If any of you out there are somehow still lavar ball apologists, this train of thought that liAngelo Ball can play in the NBA should tell you how delusional Lavar is. This guy should do his kids a favor and take a permanent vacation.

I think it's just Kerrsed that is obsessed with Lavar and his Balls.

Crazy to see GCU in a primetime EPSN game. The Suns need to talk to Majerle after the season. Tired of seeing people with Suns' roots flourish elsewhere.

As crazy as it sounds, I don't think he'd leave GCU to go to the Suns. They just got eligibility for the tourney. I won't be surprised if he continues building it into a solid mid major and starts getting big name college job offers.

I'm all over Ayton, Bamba, Jackson for us.

Per 30: points / rebounds / blocks @ O-Rating / D-Rating
Ayton: 18 / 10 / 1 @ 131 / 96
Bamba: 11 / 10 / 4 @ 108 / 77
Jackson: 13 / 9 / 3 @ 108 / 76

In bold are numbers that are MVP level offensive rating or DPOY level defensive rating.

If we pick top 6 we should get one of them.
