Fantasy playoff time, they weren't going to mess around with Gronk. I say that somewhat in jest because it is nearly impossible to understand some of their decisions with punishments. I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't some truth in the fantasy perspective, still blowback from the Brady suspension, or whatever other nonsense.

The audacity for Gronk to appeal the suspension...I mean, do what you gotta do, but he's lucky it wasn't 3 or 4 games.

I thought maybe there was an under the table agreement going on there. The player's union basically has to have a player always appeal but the optics look bad.

Gronk should have been run for the season for what he did. Laying down, on the sideline, whistle blew, didn't just touch to make sure, lined him up, blind-sided, went for the head, admitted premeditation, and resultant concussion. You rarely see anything like that even in the NFL. Makes Sapp look like a pussycat. It was all fun and games with Gronk previously, but the ill-intentioned side of meat-headedness came out.

I agree. It's ridiculous that JuJu Smith gets the same punishment as Gronk.

Yep, that was the biggest bitch move ive seen in the league in a long time. Hard to watch the NFL now for me, so many guys still headhunting. Pretty sure the NFL is looking at a massive crisis here in the future. Gotta find someway to make the game safer.

The Pittsburgh/Cincinnati game is going to push the NFL to reconsider rule changes. That game was just hard to watch. Every play I was waiting for the next shoe to drop and for someone to get carted off of the field. I'm all for good defense, but I'm not for going out there trying to hurt players.
