hope it's nothing too serious, get well soon.

With that said... Stephen Silas: This is your audition for the head coaching job. Make us love you.

Team is going to play hard to coach while he's gone. Might not be the best coach but the players like and respect him. So do I

Sort of what people wanted on this board but not at the cost of health issues.

I guess we'll see if he was really the problem in the teams success...

Everyone that wanted Clifford gone will get a taste of what life is like without him, for better or worse.

Ugh. I feel bad for Cliff. Given his past health issues this could be life threatening for him if it's the same thing.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Get well Cliff. I never wish bad health on anyone.

On another note, I guess those calling for Lil Silas will get to see what he’s cracked up to be as a coach. I personally haven’t been a fan of keeping him on board since he’s allegedly been the guy in control of player development in the earlier days and I feel like he hasn’t delivered on that end. But let’s see.

This season has been so strange with all the problems we've faced so far. I hope Clifford overcomes whatever health problems he is facing and is able to make a complete recovery.
The Charlotte Hornets will win their first round series against the Boston Celtics in the 2021 Playoffs

That was my thought. Didn't he have a stent put in his heart a couple seasons ago?

Yep

wow do I feel like a lump of doody half-joking in the fix the team thread just yesterday that I'd swap Cliff and Silas - no way I intended ill health or would wish it upon Cliff!

Well, Silas is likely to keep using Clifford's schemes since that's what's drilled into the team but he can at least show us a difference in game management/sub patterns. Should be interesting. What's the strength of schedule looking like right now?

Get well Cliffy boy.

I'm not his biggest fan, but Cliff has always been a standup guy from what I've seen and I really hope he recovers quickly. Hopefully when more information comes out we'll discover it's not particularly life-threatening, just going to take some time. Fingers crossed.

Magic fan here. Just wanted to add to the get well wishes for your coach. He was always a super classy guy while he was here (SVG assistant) and I have always appreciated his straight talk from afar. Wanted to add my prayers to your first rate thread here -- well done.

Wishing him a quick recovery, he seems to be a good person, and as a coach, he is more underrated than anything here.
