Come on man, he certainly wasnt bad but im not giving up on Jabari for Bobby Simmons. At this point your locked into keeping Jabari for better or worse

I'm not either. I'm just saying that Bobby Simmons was no scrub.

In a heartbeat. Tobias right now is what Parker’s best case scenario is anyway

His best case scenario? At age 21 Parker was putting up more points, more boards, more assists, more steals, more blocks than Tobias is right now at age 25.

That’d be true if he wasn’t coming off 2 ACL injuries back to back

Bucks tricked me into being a diehard in 2001, LeBron is the 2nd best player ever, and pizza is awesome.

I don't think that lowers his ceiling, not given the way he came back the first time. With Jabari it is all about that injury risk and if he can become an average defender. I don't think there is any doubt if he stays healthy and becomes an average defender he is a significantly better player than Tobes.

Two ACL injuries definitely lowers your ceiling IMO... just off the fact that he's much more prone to re injuring the same knee after 2 ops

Wouldn't say it lowers his ceiling at all. Least not until we see him play.

What it lowers is the likelihood of him actually reaching his ceiling though

I don't know if they changed his running style but he is much more on his toes running and landing. Sports Science FTW!

Can I borrow your time machine so I too can go to the future and see Jabari never progress to the level of Tobes?

Dude we know you love Jabari and you would have the Bucks risk the teams future on the hope Jabari doesn't become Michael Redd. The way this guy runs and lands on foot foot when he jumps isn't going to change. We all had kids in high school who ran funny. Well Jabari is one of the guys. Jabari was big and strong and was able to excel athletically but all the time he was wearing down his lower extremities. You can't rewire your brain and lean how to run normal after 20 years of doing it the way he does. I guarantee within the next 24 months Jabari will be under the knife and we will be screwed.

Logical Bucks fans say move on get the best asset Jabari can bring back and move forwards in having success in the playoffs. Dreaming for a miracle outcome is what is,a fantasy.

Warning cross sports reference:

De by the name of Grant Saints slid down the draft board after blowing 2... each...achillies. Had a sensational career. Everyone knew he could but few thought it was likely. Very few in the nfl came back from 2 knees who arent 300lbs. It ruins careers. Every year you'll see teams pay fa less in football and draft dudes lower for the exact reason that it absolutely lowers your ceiling. You can pretend it doesn't but it does. Could he be one of the few who survive it... sure... but now you are playing some very long odds and he wants max. The nfl is not the athletic beast that the nba is.

I wonder if he does any defensive drills during his rehab. Is there any video of it?Have i missed it?

Also,i dont remember seeing him on the bench in games? He doesnt really feel part of the team to me.

Did you really just post a lineup with the starting 2 guard being JR Smith?

Our actual management posted a lineup with the starting 2 guard being Tony Snell.

I try not to read into guys like that these are professional players. Gotta hope he comes back and boosts the combo forward depth on this team.

The logical thing to do is to make a determination after his return.

No it is not. Jabari might seem fine for a few months but know one can predict when it happens again. It would be illogical to gamble by waiting. We could add a player now who helps increase our playoff standings and help us win in the playoffs. We also avoid the drama of negotiating with his communist agent who most certainly try to hold the Bucks hostage. Moving Jabari is the only logical choice. What you propose didn't work out so well in the past. Think of white kind of player we could have obtained before his second surgery. Now you suggest we go that route again? That is not logical at all.
