There should never be rushing anyone back from an injury. He would play hurt if he was effective and it was a playoff game I suppose, but there is no basketball reason to have a player out there that isn't healthy otherwise, especially if he is a 19 year old.

I'm not saying that they will or should redshirt him, but he should not be shooting until he is pain free, and he should not be playing until he is shooting the same way that he did in summer league.

If those benchmarks are met next week then awesome.

If they give another 2-3 week time period than maybe he might come back. I expect the first option.

Same, out indefinitely. All of those stupid posters with him/Simmons and Embiid should be burned until this guy actually plays.
I have played basketball/coached basketball and have never seen ANYONE get hurt over changing their shooting form.
The BS meter is off the charts on this one.

this... if this dumb ass team gives another evaluation in 2 or 3 weeks or out indefinitely, this team needs to be under strait fire from the fan base, not only the team, but Fultz as well

This whole thing is BS from top to bottom and anyone singing the company man BS is just strait in denial

this is a joke right? that crap version of fultz we saw the first 4 games still contributed on defense and in being able to get into the paint at will... and that was with 0 shot

sing the company song some more...

LMAO you are talking about this like he is recovering from shoulder surgery on a torn rotator cuff, or has an AC joint sprain, you know, the same injury that Mcconnell is going to miss only 3 games from.. an injury that he heard pop and was in EXTREME pain.. enough pain to know he couldn't keep playing

now compare that to fultz who was playing the first 4 games and it wasnt until the giant **** storm about his shot came about that he suddenly became hurt enough to miss all these weeks...

so you are talking about him missing all of his first season if that's what it takes on an injury that is pure BS?

lmao

I like how people can tell someone else that they aren't hurt.

fam you don't know how Fultz feels. Not everybody is the same afterall. Being mad at him is some dumb ass ****.

Be mad at the team for lack of clarity but thats it. Yelling at the player for being hurt is the most entitled type of ****

How does one live in a constant state of panic/mania like this Krazy guy? Hopefully this is just a messageboard persona.

Right. I think the bottom line is that Fultz would be out there playing right now if he could play effectively and not further complicate his shoulder issues. I'm fine with the cautious route.

We are fine with being cautious but this team has a history of being overly cautious and give us no straight answers. They give BS updates and drag us along for a few months then announce said player is out for the year.

Then there’s not being cautious at all, like the Embiid injury last Jan/Feb. They played him when he was hurt and said he was fine then he was out for the year. And now with the Fultz situation, who do we believe?

Why can’t they be honest to us? That’s all we ask.

panic and mania? stating my opinion of the situation, just because it doesn't happen to fall in line with the bogus PR they spew you and you choose to believe, doesn't mean I live in any state like that lol
'
its funny, wherever you go, if you arent a fall in line company guy for your team, there are always fans on the board that will throw personal insults at you, all because you arent a blind lemming toward whatever the team tells you

even when a team like ours with history of lying and covering up things, you guys still will bash those that tend to think something is up lol

I am really pissed now. It is so annoying and so disappointing, that we have to deal with things like that every friggin season. Why are the sixers (players) always the unlucky ones? Every year man...

I mean based on your last post, Fultz was completely fine to play and should be able to play right now then right? Was it not obvious his shot was completely messed up? I think the FO does not handle things well either but I also believe what they're saying about his shoulder and muscular imbalance is accurate and not covering up further issues. It's just up in the air when he will fully return and they keep asking us to wait two more weeks although no return date has been chosen.

The biggest issue is the false hope given by these incremental updates and potential return dates, but they haven't really been that discrete about particulars when it comes to injuries. It's just the poor timing and false hope that is frustrating.

Funny thing is when it comes to the non essential players, guys like Richaun Holmes who get's injured you get a legitimate time table and various updates that actually come to fruition.

When it comes to guys who people pay money to watch it's more um....uh...maybe.

Yea this is pretty frustrating. We have Simmons and Embiid playing at a high level and nearly selling the joint out every night. Just give us a straight up, legit answer like 99% of the other major sports teams in the NBA/Sports in general.

I think BC has done a decent job on most things but THIS has been handled so poorly.
Stop the nonsense already and be up front about this situation. Its not like the fan base hasn't been (and continues to be) PATIENT.

I think this is more on Scott O'Neill

He is the common denominator here

Sounds like he's going to be out till the all star break... At that point sitting him out the whole year becomes a possibility... I honestly believe this is our punishment for Hinkie being a god. Yes, we can have our great players, but they need to wait for a year before they can start dominating in the league. What other way is there to explain it... Ughghg.
