Re: Around the NBA Week 7
Good deal for BKN.
Okafor and D'Angelo on the same team. I still do like D'Angelo's potential, never liked Okafor though and still dont. He should be able to put up some numbers in Brooklyn, but still dont believe he has much potential and wont be a high impact player.

Playoff teams aint playing. MF's tryna stack up. Booker is super underrated. However I like what the Nets are doing. They are doing what we should eventually be doing. Playoff temas may run coming for Kanter, lee, and Kyle.

Stauskas cap hold would have been bad right? Might be wrong though.

Keep Kanter man. He's only 25. KP needs him. We need him. All for trading the other two. Their value is almost as high as it could be.

Brooklyn is the right spot for him. No pressure and ample opportunity.
Philly had their back against the walls with this as many predicted. Nobody's gonna help a team out to clear a glut. Particularly one that gamed the system like Philly did. They're still in good shape.

Thats the worst trade ever...
KOQ and Baker is a much better offer for Okafor and Stauskas. And they save the pick. Why in hell they need Booker??
Or give them Willy back

Why would we trade Willy for Okafor?
That does not make sense contract wise and possibly talent wise.

If we add in Horny Atkinson swap they demand two first rounders though

Yup and they got a somewhat serviceable player in Booker and only had to give up a 2nd to clear Okafor whose value they completely tanked.

Is Kanter a Center on a championship team is what you should be asking yourself. Interested to see where Perry's mind is at with him. We wont take the next step forward with 1 year deal talent coming in every year with Noah on the books and KP is due for a pay date.

Okafor has much higher ceiling than Willy. Baker and Willy match Jahlil's contract

Based on what?
Okafor may have more offensive talent, but it remains to be seen if he's an effective player at the NBA level.
Same for Willy, but Willy is cost controlled on a cheap deal.
