The grizzlies are a hot mess right now so just moving to a competent team may help Green. Also, he was hurt at the beginning of the season so some of those poor games were just due to not being fully back to 100% at the time.
As for removing the Clippers 1st, it is hard to judge. Value-wise changing the first to a 2nd is probably fine since the Grizzlies are also giving up Wright. Green for Williams and BOS 1st is fair but Wright being a 6m expiring is worth something too. Wright, when healthy, was a part of the killer bench unit the Grizzlies rolled out to start the season so strong. The grizzlies also seem to like Green so the prospect of 2 firsts would be more enticing to them though I agree that Ainge would be very hesitant to give up both picks for him. I'm not sure if the grizzlies adding minor value (such as a 2nd round pick swap) would entice Boston enough or not.
In summary, 2 firsts would be best but dropping the LAC to a decent 2nd would still leave the deal as an option the Grizzlies would have to consider.
