KOTB no?

Also who is your 5 if Horford is still a 4?

Would Grizzlies fans do it without the Clippers 1st? Would Hornets fans do this as is? Haven’t heard from those fan bases on this.

Baynes. Hopefully LAL pick.

I get all the reason I.e cap flexibility etc. but Jamychal Green has underperformed after getting the contract and a late first should be enough imo.
Bet with Stillwater Celtics will finish 6th or higher in ECF Standings Regular Season(17-18). [WON]

I want to try it again, but I want to get overall advice on fixing it from the other fan bases involved. I believe in the premise and despite the critcisms think this is a great trade idea that maybe needs minor tweaks to fix it, but isn’t at all that far off.

Also Green may underperform, but how many players fit the mold of being available, doesn’t put the Celtics above the luxury tax and doesn’t cost them depth, cap flexibility or their prime draft pick assets? The list is very short. Green is all of those things and improves their roster right now even if improvement isn’t needed, I imagine it’s always wanted.

Agreed. That’s why he is worth a first. I just don’t believe he is worth much more.

The grizzlies are a hot mess right now so just moving to a competent team may help Green. Also, he was hurt at the beginning of the season so some of those poor games were just due to not being fully back to 100% at the time.

As for removing the Clippers 1st, it is hard to judge. Value-wise changing the first to a 2nd is probably fine since the Grizzlies are also giving up Wright. Green for Williams and BOS 1st is fair but Wright being a 6m expiring is worth something too. Wright, when healthy, was a part of the killer bench unit the Grizzlies rolled out to start the season so strong. The grizzlies also seem to like Green so the prospect of 2 firsts would be more enticing to them though I agree that Ainge would be very hesitant to give up both picks for him. I'm not sure if the grizzlies adding minor value (such as a 2nd round pick swap) would entice Boston enough or not.

In summary, 2 firsts would be best but dropping the LAC to a decent 2nd would still leave the deal as an option the Grizzlies would have to consider.

I’d hop all over this for the Hornets although I feel like some biased Hornets fans r gunna act like Marvin is wayyy better than this package. I on the other hand wanna get out of all our big contracts
