Booker wasn't as good as these guys last year, but this year he is better offensively. Very similar numbers to Beal, but slightly better. Both better offensively overall, but C.J. much much better from 3.

But Booker beats them both overall offensively. The big difference and equalizer as complete players is the big discrepancy defensively. So just a little improvement there would be nice.

But the biggest difference by far favoring Booker is that he's 3 years younger than Beal and 5 years younger than McCollum.

Probably had some great character witnesses. Earl Watson came in and said "I was an assistant during Markieff's tough and emotional time when his brother was traded without his knowledge." The man was devasted. We got very close. I love him. He is a great human being. We bonded through meditation and yoga sessions. He had some rough times while younger, and that night was a difficult time in his life. The Boston Celtics immediately saw that, and even though they had a fan favorite and important piece of their team they had drafted on their roster in Avery Bradley, they felt like they had to trade this fabulous young man for what they saw in Marcus Morris. Through my conversations with Marcus over the phone and the love we shared, this eventually extended to the Boston Celtic family, and they proceeded to go on a long winning streak with Marcus' presence, and they immediately had to make him a starter once healthy, and they still are among the best teams in the league due to the love they have come to know because of the Watson theory and circle of love Marcus and I talked about."

The judge decided that's all he had to hear and said these sound like great young men who can do positive things in the future.

Watson might not be a good coach, but he is a great guy.

Oh, I haven't read those. But I did read Simmons' old columns about it. Ultimately, due to the Ewing theory, even though Booker is out, I think it might be good for our team in the long run as long as there are no lingering problems for Booker upon his return.
