Interesting game to ponder about. Mitchell is/will be a real problem for the league. Defending dribble penetration and staying home on shooters is a problem for Houston right now.

Would of been nice to have a healthy Gobert, and Hood, as well as JJ. Without Hill and Rubio playing like ass, we could really use Exum. Will this team ever be healthy.

Hood is in our squad, so my guess is no.

Considering that most of the starters played at least 35 minutes and they still gave up too many points and didn't score enough, this was an ugly loss. I know they don't take most teams seriously, but they need to start trying even when they're blowing a team out so that they can rest in the 4th quarter. That defense in the last quarter was TERRIBLE.

I think the Jazz if they can regroup after December can likely get the 6th seed. Maybe even 5th, depends on Minnesota.

I love Donovan Mitchell. He seems like he is going to be an All-Star.

What do you mean they're unplayable? And Spurs are usually the ones that somehow beat some exciting contender in the Playoffs and still end up losing in a later round. They're definitely annoying.

Anyone know what the spread was on that Rockets vs Jazz game?
There were a lot of strange calls in that 4th quarter.

Like amazingly strong. I like the Spurs but this year's playoffs is begging for a Rockets x Warriors matchup, and i'm starting to think with you guys as #1 seed.

Rockets with an elite PG on the floor for all 48 minutes with shooters and a nice roll man around him, as well as great rebounding and defense is a very formidable team. How that will work for them against GS though is a different question, and SA will definitely be hard for them. Their chase for the #1 seed though is going to be their greatest benefit if they can make GS and SA battle it out in the 2nd round instead of having to face SA in the 2nd round.

lol the TNT guys will be hating on the Rockets the whole season (without, of course, mentioning their defense). Shaq just said "screw analytics. I say Rockets don't play defense!" lmao

Yep, exactly. No one wants to face the Spurs in the second round...

He has fabulous hair.

But yeah, he did not look like a good fit in this system.

Wow.
It's kind of disappointing how obvious it is that these guys on TNT don't really do any research on the teams they show.

This has been obvious for years though. People don't like them for their basketball knowledge (it lack thereof) they just find them to be entertaining. I don't so I don't watch
