I'm very, very sorry to see Book go. I believe in balancing young talent with vets. I think the team will miss his grit. He and Lin were the gritty vets and now one is gone and the other isn't playing. RHJ has some grit and Acy. And a bit with Whitehead who doesn't play that much. The rest of the team is highly skilled, finesse players. I don't know what Okafor brings. He is a 3rd pick. So we have 2nd pick in Russell and 3rd pick in Okafor now. But, I think the youth movement is strong now. Please, keep some vets to mentor them. Like DMC.

it sucks losing booker but giving more than 9 milion for a role player like booker at this stage would be questionable to make. hopefully okafor stays.

This guy was a total pro and really enjoyed his time in Brooklyn. You could tell he was genuine. Could you imagine if you took this guy's heart and put it in Deron Williams? Williams would've been an all star every season.

Appreciate the passion he played with, especially after the disappointment of the teams of the Billy King Era.

Loved the guy here, great personality, great teammate, and big impact on the court for a role player. He's very underrated by NBA fans. I'll miss him and hope he does well in Philly.

Long live King Booker!

Loved Booker. I was on his bandwagon from Day 1 as a cheaper, just as good substitute for Thad. But this shows that, as much as talk about loyalty, this is all a brutal business. Same for Skil.

Yeah I'm looking forward to seeing him w this team. Seems slightly redundant with Amir Johnson but can never have enough vets to bang on the low block

Booker has come up big in timely manner, doing a lot of things not shown on the stats sheet like big tips, hustle plays, strips, rebounds etc. He will be missed and best of luck to him.

Booker is going to be a pain in the ass when we play the sixers.

It will be infuriating when he hits those baby hooks and lay ups. damn

yeah, but at least we sent him to a decent team where he will have a role. I feel bad for Skil, hopefully he can land a job.

Skil has enough on his resume to garner some interest.

The Hawks just waive Brussino today, maybe they have interest in Skil?

hopefully. Playing in the NBA was the guy's dream and he worked really hard to stick on this roster so for it to end would be sad to see.
