Comparing last year to the early stats this year:
Honorable Mention:Lyles has improved his shooting: 36% FG to 49% - - - 32% 3pt to 43% - - - 72% FT to 80% but he came over from Utah and doesn't have enough minutes to get serious consideration.
Surprising Choice: Mudiay has improved FG% marginally but 3pt went from 31% to 40% but his assist-to-turnover ratio is almost identical.
My Vote: Will Barton has improved FG% from 44% to 47% - - - 3pt% from 37% to 42% and he's even added 1 rebound more per game.
Anybody have another choice?

Re: Early Most Improved Nugget
I'd like to vote Mudiay, but I think that''s a bit of my man0crush on him. In reality, his up-n-down season seem very typical of his seasons so far.
I'd like to go with Lyles, seems he won't get the necessary PT due to the acquistion of Millsap.
