 at blaming the refs for losing this game

The refs didn't cost the Pistons the game but that phantom call on Tolliver for the KD three really changed the momentum.

Tough call because it had nothing to do with the shot but they're putting an emphasis on protecting shooters...so an understandable call. Tolliver was pretty reckless with his contest there; should've been a foul.

While I do agree that the Pistons have a disadvantage in height, a much more prevalent shortcoming is their athleticism.

Yeah it's definitely both. If you're not longer, more athletic, or quicker you have nothing lol

Ish/Avery with quickness, and Drummond are the only 3 players with an athletic advantage most nights. They need to play the 4th... most nights. When Reggie draws Jeff Teague/Towns and there are some exploitable defenders on the floor? Fine leave him in. Eric Bledsoe, Giannis, Brogdon, Draymond, Klay, KD etc? You have to utilize Ish's quickness.
