I hope he just retires, there's nothing left for him. I knew this was going to be a slaughter, I was hoping it would be slightly competitive though or that Bisping some how could pull it out.
I like kelvin though, hope this sets up a Whittaker, kelvin fight for the title after GSP drops it.

There was a case for him being as high as 5th, but more likely 6th or 7th.

Wouldn't mind to see either one.
I despise Bisping. But not enough to want to see him fight Rockhold or Romero. They should do either Belfort or Machida and call it a career.
Not to quote myself but Rashad could be another viable option. I just didn't mention it before because I remember Rashad saying he wanted to go back to 205.

Re: Non-threadworthy UFC Events Thread
Lazy looping right in the pocket by Spits, but good head movement by Gastelum and sharp lead hook to straight left combo to put him to bed. Gastelum is a legit contender even at this division, but Spits should have never taken the fight so quickly. Double-edged sword to being likes-to-fight guy. I suppose if not here it would have happened with another bloke on the street today.
Between that career, his lengthy MMA one, and maybe diminishing skills, he really should retire. Good for him he back-ended a little title run and accompanying riches, as fluky as it was. May want to consider having a retirement fight at home in about 9 months against someone he'll probably beat to get a last payday and end on a high note. But that really should be it. Can't get addicted to that taste again.

A win against Belfort would be such a fitting end. Maybe you're right, they'll go the Faber/Pickett route and give him an easier fight.

Good God, this Caceres fight is horrifying to watch. He's been out on his feet for 5 minutes and this guy is a straight killer.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

Perceval needed to be beaten with a garden hose for letting him continue when he couldn't make it back to his own stool between rounds.

Douglas Lima...it's the combos and technique that's what does it.

It's just insane, with what is now known about where brain damage is most significant. He clearly had significant _neurological damage_. He was swooning, his eyes were gone, he had no muscle tone in his legs. For a lengthy period of time, not just cos he got buzzed or whatever.
He cannot still be getting hit in the head 12 minutes later. That's just idiotic. The brain is subsequently just so vulnerable to further damage.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

1. Cormier
2. Kelvin
3. Lawler
4. Gaethe
5. Jorge
Straight talent. There are probably more well-trained, well-honed boxers out there. DJ or TJ or Cody, P4P. Or Holloway or Conor or whomever. But as far as beautiful, fluid movement, it's those 5 IMO.
It's interesting that 4 of those 5 are wrestlers first and none of them formally trained. Might say something about mastering physical skills more generally before specializing, I don't know.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

Was Edgar cornering Moraes btw? That's gotta be awkward. Sterling is a Serra/Longo/Renzo guy I thought?
