Silas, could you not run so many of the old Al Jefferson/Dwight Howard cross-screen plays for O'Bryant post ups!?

I thought I was the only one that noticed. Silas been a part of the problem all of these years. He might’ve been the one telling Clifford we should run Alfense. It even seems like Dwight get the ball more now that Clifford is out.

Not trying to defend Silas, but the last part might be due to all the injuries we've had during the games hes coached.

I'm not impressed with him either way. We need a completely different approach on both sides of the ball and I just don't see that from him. I'll give him time since he just took over and I want us to tank anyways, but I'm still heavily leaning against him so far. Maybe it is unrealistic to expect an interim to come in and immediately start doing things like benching our highest paid players and completely changing the game plan.

Whoever said we need to find what Boston found in Stevens is correct. Expecting to get someone as good as Stevens is a pipe dream, but the franchise needs to think outside of its usual box and find someone who is at least good and actually on the cutting edge of where the league is trending.

I'm not really impressed with the "make a couple of pointless passes - sloppy screen by Dwight - drive the lane and get walled off easily - kick out to a wing that can only manage a contested jumpshot" play. Other than the "post up Dwight too far from the basket" play it seems to be our favorite.
