Another good deal by the Padres, people underrate Ensberg and how gangster he is.

he's overrated. he has strucken out 99 times already.

but the Padres do need a 3B. Come on Houston trade Loretta for some prospects please.

The Philles have aquired P Julio Mateo.

OMG he's strucken out 99 times already! That definitely means he sucks.

In 2005 and 2006 Ensberg had a combined PrOPS of .950, pretty damn impressive. While struggling this year, there is reason to believe he may turn it around as he still has a PrOPS of over .800 and a low .265 BABIP. And please name one person who overrates Ensberg, because they don't exist, he's just like a lesser talented Pat Burrell who gets underrated.

Eh, I was one of those guys who kept saying Ensberg is going to turn it around, over and over and over...last year, all of this year....eh.

Maybe a change of scenery will do him good, he does play good defense and he certainly can knock the crap out of the ball when he gets it going, that just never happened here.

I like the Padres so I hope he does well for them.

And uh, why isn't the entire Astros roster outside of Oswalt/Pence/Lee/Berkman gone now? Why hang on to a bunch of scrubs who won't help us do anything anyways? The season is already over, might as well get as many prospects as we can...god I hate Poopura.

thats what im trying to say. Purpura sucks as a GM.

These are the deals he couldve made as g.m.

1. Last year at the deadline. Lidge to Texas for Brad Wilkerson, Rod Barajas and a pitcher.

2. Everett, Lane and Lidge for Miguel Tejada.

3. Willy T, Taylor Buchholz, and Jason Hirsh for John Garland.

4. Brad Lidge for Rocco Baldeli

Why in the world did the Pirates trade FOR Matt Morris.

That makes no sense, I thought Morris was being traded to a contender. And the Cards traded for Joel Pinero for a player to be named later, gotta love it!

The Morris trade is incomprehensible.

His deal is TERRIBLE, and somehow the Giants aren't paying any of it. With a small payroll like the Pirates, how does this make ANY sense? They deserve to be bottom-feeders with this management, just awful.

This is just the Pirates trying to tell us that they actually aren't sitting on their revenue sharing checks, that they are willing to spend. But they've failed miserably because we can see right through this. We all know that this isn't going to be the start of some significant spending by the Pirates.
