I don't think out of Ersan, Dedmon and Belli..maybe one might remain a Hawk next season...and that's a huge maybe...

I don't disagree, however, I don't think we should feel pressured to move them OR ELSE!!! Like many other teams' fans seem to think.
On another note, should we be looking to pillage CHA since they're struggling so mightily despite being a 'going for it' team?
Send them Baze for Batum and a FRP? or something crazy. I hate Batum's deal though so that might not be enough, honestly.
Just some thoughts.

I would swap them Bazemore for MKG.
Bazemore is a veteran with a couple of deep post season runs under his belt at this point.
MKG...is younger, and with a slightly more palatable contract. Maybe enroll him at Hawks University for a semester or two.
I'd also like to get my hands on Jeremy Lamb. Though that seems unlikely.

You'd trade for ... who? Oh my ... Elizabet', I'm comin' ta join ya ...
They've been working on his shooting his whole career and he's still woeful. There is no rehabilitating that guy. He's a lost cause.
On top of that, he's not the great defender people bill him as being.
I'd pay Bazemore double before I'd add MKG.

Hahaha YES!!!! Kg, I'm not the only Lamb guy.. love it!
I really like MKG as well. If MKG were guided by Bud, we would have a steal of a deal. Honestly he's still a raw talent. I'm not sure about his work habits though, I heard he worked hard in high school and became a top player in the nation. I even remember watching him in the McDonald's all America game. If he has the discipline to work and learn, he can be something special...tools are there.
Ps His jump shot needs a TON of work. I've always disliked players with funky shot releases..historically.

*sigh*
If I'm being honest ... and it pains me to say this ... *sigh* {grits his teeth} Lamb has actually played well this year. In fact, I didn't address it because he'd be off the table if I were them.
There, I said it. Happy?
Also, stahhp with the MKG stuff. Dude's been in the league 6 years now and they've been working to fix his shot since day 1. Budz isn't some miracle worker. If he was, Bembry's results wouldn't still look like he's shooting with his eyes closed.

^Hyperbole is one thing...
But this is utter poppycock. Rubbish. Nonsense.
Kent Bazemore...is not good. Isn't he our highest paid player? But like the 6th best...
If we can turn DeMarre into a capable starter, I have faith we could have a similar effect on MKG at this age.
But really, it's just a swap of bad contracts.

I actually don't mind Baze as much in a tanking year..he's perfect for us (this year only).

No. no. no.
Carroll didn't need a major overhaul of everything he does offensively. MKG likely does. Huge difference. Yuge.
I keep Bazemore all day over MKG. MKG makes Baze look like prime Reggie Korver (Reggie Miller and Kyle's love child).

Only thing I mind is having to actually watch him play. It's funny, on 2k18 he plays the exact same outta control, ill-conceived shooting style. Brilliant coding (is that what it's called?).
I also noticed that the Hawks are like #2 in most tech's called this year behind only the Warriors with Bazemore being in like the top 5. Ridiculous. Who does he think he is?

Ersan might not have as many suitors Marco was traded here. he didn't choose the Hawks and at his age, and possessing the most desirable NBA skill there is, I'd assume he'd like to be playing in the playoffs. I'm sure the league has noticed that Dedmon was flat out ballin' for us. He's 28, hitting his prime, and better than half the starting centers in the league.

Based on what?
Bazemore is a far superior player and it's not even close. I can't believe I said that out loud.

It's actually really close, kg. Bazemore isn't good. (GREAT person. Sub-par player.)
MKG ain't great, either. But he's younger and cheaper. (And has had bad coaching his whole career.)
Again, it'd be a swap of a really bad contract for a slightly bad contract.

The fact that there is a debate about the two says all we need to know about MKG.
They've both been in the league 6 years and based on MKGs draft position he's kind of been a dud.
His age and slightly lower contract are better than Baze's. His biggest asset over Baze is the 'P' word - Potential based on his age. Put him in a different environment and he may thrive.
On the flip side sometimes, guys are just who they are - see our very own Marvy Marv.

Ahhh, I'm pulling out of this discussion since it feels like I'll have to make a case for Bazemore being a good player.
I can't have that on the official interwebs record. I don't have enough cool points to offset those words if I get quoted somewhere.
I'd still take him all day long over MKG. Whatever potential he had has long since been exhausted.

I have to say I don't know much about MKG but I know he's a wing that doesn't shoot 3s at all. He's attempted 35 in his career. That's not good

He's literally like 0-2 this year. That don't work in 2017-18 NBA, brah. Derozan can get away with it (for now) because he can put up 30's. MKG can barely put up 30 in an open gym.
