Absolutely zero interest in the TNF tilt.

Chargers/Chiefs on Saturday night is massive. One would think the winner of that game wins the division.

But I don't think there is any doubt that Patriots/Steelers is the game of the week. Sure thought Cowboys/Raiders would be up there when the season starter. That's why they play the games isn't it...

If the Jags win they are in (can't believe I'm saying that).

Also rooting for the Steelers *shutters* to beat the Pats, so the Jags can get the 2 seed in the playoffs.

Believe it. You guys are going to be good for a long time, imho. Especially when your QB situation is resolved. Although Bortles has made improvements and strides this year which I say is about time.

Yea not quite the barn burner is it? There’s not a lot going on tonight so ratings should be ok

I have to believe the Rams will pull out the win. They're better than Seattle and have been all year, and I'm a big believer that those types of things even out over time.

But it's crazy to me that the Rams have had what feels like a fairytale season, while Seattle has had what seems like a disappointing season, and we're one game away from the Seahawks being in first place and the Rams potentially missing the playoffs

You also have to acknowledge that the Hawks have been more impacted by injuries (3rd most). Whereas the Rams haven't been impacted in the same way. Start to take away key guys like Gurley, Donald, Ogletree, Whitworth, etc. & they're not nearly as good. That's essentially what has happened to us. No Sherm, Chancellor, Avril for a large chunk of the season. We potentially could miss Wagner & Wright for this game as well, which would be almost catastrophic.

I applaud the Rams for having a good season. But, what the **** took so long? :P

Right. But Avril, Bennett, Wilson, Sherm, Earl, Chancellor, Wagner have hardly missed any games in their careers. Almost like it's all evened out in one year.

As for what took so long...coaching and QB play

Coming from a fan of a team that had to switch divisions, heck, conferences, to finally become relevant. :P

Good point. How do you think Rivers will fare Saturday? In a semifinal round for my bigger money league I have Rivers and Goff. Match up is making me lean toward Rivers with how hot he's been..

My guess is he will be extremely pumped up for this one. He actually threw 3 ints in the first qtr against the Chiefs in their first matchup. While you could view that as a reason to take caution, I think it's the type of thing he will remember and it will pump him up even more to come out and have a big game against the Chiefs. He always gets pumped up against them. Also, last year in KC in week 1 of the season they were us 21-3 when Keenan Allen tore his ACL right before halftime. It deflated them and although they kicked another fg to go up 24-3 early in the second half, they lost the game in OT.

They've got plenty of reasons to be extra pumped against KC. But I'm sure that stadium will be loud and Rivers will probably barely be able to hear himself.

Wouldn't want to put the Seahawks in the cellar again.
