because this election is not about roy moore. its about the left attempting to impeach trump. everyone knows this is a single issue vote. alabamians are basically voting to impeach trump or keep trump.

and its quite clear that this will be the issue for every single congressional vote for at least the next 2 years. if you want to impeach trump, vote for a democrat. if you want to keep trump vote for the republican.

Alabama, the 5th most conservative state in the nation has spoken.

well they are that smart.   . sorry bama!! but you're not. and that's too bad for them because this state loves trump. so yeah, they didn't actually know what was on the line tonight.

and Trump and bannon should made it clear what was on the line. mccain, flake, and corker will already vote to impeach trump. this we know.

So D's only need to flip about 21 R's in the house to bring it to the senate. There are at least 20 R's in the house willing to make a name for themselves to bring this to the senate. and what's it really cost to get a vote from a representative? I'll bet 20 grand gets a vote. And trump is so easy to impeach.

Once in the senate. D's now only need 18. and at least 6 or 7 will vote to impeach right now with mccain, graham, flake, corker leading the charge. and I'll bet my ass out on the street that Sessions and Pence can get at least at least 10 more with various "promises" and they take over the white house.

I'd say we are only 2-3 months away from a full blown trump impeachment.

Which was the plan all along. And there has been no collusion. and these allegation of sexual harrassment are not coming off as credible.

So the real issue is. how bad will the revolt be? I'm hoping its huge. scorched frickin earth with Ivanka swept into office in 2020 with no "cloud" over her that her father had since he kicked crooked hillarys saggy azz to the curb. :P :P

SD20 YOU HAVE A COMPREHENSION PROBLEM....................THE SENATE DOESN"T IMPEACH.............ONLY THE HOUSE IMPEACHES.......................DUH :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Not ones that stepped down, ones that were removed.

Mitch McConnell was working to get Luther Strange elected and it was seen at a big political blow. I understand your skepticism but I would not completely dismiss this scenario especially since it could be self serving to McConnell. Although if Roy Moore gets impeached, could he decide to run again?

Here's the thing. What message does it send to Alabama voters to completely nullify their vote? You think there's establishment backlash now, just wait for the Breitbart headlines savaging Mitch McConnell and Republicans. You'll just end up with another Bannon backed primary contender and good luck convincing voters to turn out for another runoff election. We know McConnell is a coward considering he's flipped flopped on this issue many times. They'll drag their feet on an ethics investigation which can take 2-3 years and in the meantime get Moore's vote on their initiatives to screw the American people.

At least we don't have to find out.

Hahahahhaha this is glorious. Suck it Trump, suck it Bannon and suck it Roy Moore! I wonder who Trump is going to throw under the bus first, Moore, the people of Alabama or the Republican Party?

A couple of things here:
1. For all of those idiots bemoaning identity politics, this is proof that if Democrats give black voters a reason to vote for them they will show up and support. Don’t take them for granted and follow through on your promises.

2. Hopefully people will realize Steve Bannon is trash and that he’s no political mastermind. He’s a clown that lives in a bubble and doesn’t understand that the majority of the country doesn’t support his nihilistic sociopathic views.

3. Democrats need to build a 50 State Strategy. Don’t ignore grassroots efforts and building from the ground up. Just imagine if the Democratic machine was well organized and well funded from before the election? This one would have been a blow out.

Also Democrats don’t have to compromise their values to win in red states. Imagine a pro choice Democrat winning in Alabama!

bruh...first...congratulation on your win tonight. I'm glad that Moore is not in office. it would have been more harmful than good. and wanted him gone even if he won. I only supported him solely on being a supporter of trump.

But with this impeachment process, this is the second time you brought this up. Its easy to get the house majority. So i saved the time of discussing it. Do you really think i dont know how this works? aren't my posts long enough? Good god!

anyhow congratulations to all my liberal friends in this thread. This was a huge win for you guys tonight to get your impeachment train fully on track. What can i say? Voters are stupid. Especially in alabama where the overwhelming majority love trump and his agenda. Most people are really stupid. And they just didn't know what was actually on the line tonight.

Trump's got 2-3 months, tops, before he faces a full blown impeachment process. he will become just another sit on his hands president. DC establishment on both sides will be back in charge. Back to the days of bland legislation. No needles will get moved. Stock market will plummet. Unemployment will go hogher. Less and less new jobs. Trade deals will not faovr the american people, instead the billionaires. and the american people will go back to suffering like they did under Obama.
like i said, its a full rebuild.

what??? house draws up the articles and votes. They only need a majority. if it passes it goes to the senate where they need 2/3rds which is much harder to get.

come on bruh, you seriously think i dont understand this process? seriously? disagree with me all you want but If you read my stuff at all you should understand that i'm quite intelligent. I mean i dont have the time to edit my posts often. and its not because i dont care about you guys. I'm just busy, man and often talk to text.

Pretty predictable junk from Sleazy Moore.

This is all about tax ‘reform.’

Republicans are angling not to seat Jones until after they send a reconciled heist, I mean bill, to his Petulancy.

I'll tell you what. Gone are the days of "players" winning elections. Playboy type men that spent any time at all being eligible bachelors dont have much of a chance. any woman they dated will be ripe targets by the opposition for large pay offs to claim sexual misconduct or deviancy.

Women are going to win more and more primaries, nominations, and elections. and the few men who get married early and play it straight.

any kind of man that has had any kind of fun at all has no chance.

I recommend cameras everywhere young men! and keep the footage. forever. protect yourselves!! Seems stupid, i know. But get yourself a camera system at your home and at your office and in your car and invest in hard drives. I have them and sleep like a baby. Good luck to anyone that pulls false accusations with me. You''ll end up with the leverage. not the liars. unless of course you are a perv. in that case, change your ways and dont run for office!!

African Americans won that vote for Moore. Hopefully, he returns the favor and helps the poor in that state. Apparently, the predominantly minority areas in that state have a terrible sewage problem.

Two people were on the Republican ballot tonight--Roy Moore and Donald Trump. I'm so proud of the Alabama voters, especially my African-American brothers and sisters, who turned out and voted for decency and against the divisiveness and racial, sexual and religious bigotry represented by Moore and Trump. It's a great win for the Democratic Party and the country.

Charles Barkley said it best tonight and on CNN. I surprised CNN didn't cut him off.

He basically said democrats come out for the poor african emerican and poor white people vote every 4 years and do NOTHING for them!!!

Amen!! Charles barkley of all people.

but then again he's just another poor brown/black kid that made it bit. He gets it. I get it!

they do nothing for us, folks!!! poor people get screwed. every time. make them earn our damn vote!!!!!!! any opportunities we "get" are always at the expense of the (barely) middle class that just got out of the woods.

oh gawd. just stop with the over reach. this was a flawed candidate and trump supported Luther strange in the primary.

You should listen to the full tape that Charles barkley said to Don lemmon tonight. I'll try to find it and post. Same thing ive been saying for 200 pages.

fixed

Unbelievable W by Jones. African Americans definitely turned out. The Trump backlash motivated the Dem base and the controversial nature of Moore also probably turned away and turned out segments.

Trump full throatedly supported Moore and so did Steve Bannon. I think 48% of voters in Alabama disapproved of Trump. In Alabama! That says something about the mood in Alabama.
