Is there anything Ryan McDonough does well?

- Creates disgruntled players
- Drafts horribly besides Booker and Warren
- Gives false promises to players
- Terrible contracts in free agency (Chandler, Knight)
- Terrible at trades (Knight, IT, Bledsoe)
- Only GM in the nba currently that bashes players publicly as much as he does

Oh well, such as life. Maybe we will get lucky by the year 2030?

Jackson has to learn to shoot or he will bust big-time.

Think about who the players stepping up are - James, Daniels, Monroe.

G-Leaguer and 2 salary dumps.

Not the end of the world but he needs to at least learn to score in other ways like getting to the line, slashing and scoring at the rim. It's a damn shame because if he can't even do that then we really whiffed hard because athletic defensive wings who can't do much else are a dime a dozen.

This stretch is a good test to see what Warren is, ideally he'd be a 4th or 5th best player instead of the guy when Booker's out.

Also our points conceded has decreased since Jackson came in for Booker if that's related.

Getting to the line will not help Jackson who shoots a very poor .541 at the charity stripe. He needs to rework his shot.

Good point, how could I forgot he can't shoot FT's.

Read on Twitter

Jackson not taking advantage of an opportunity for more touches with booker out.

I liked the McD hire but his results haven't been good enough. Can't see how they let him make another high pick.

There's plenty of bigs in the top 6 who are rated on athletic prowess more than basketball in this draft too.

Bagley, Ayton, Bamba, Jackson.

So potentially add one of them to Len, Bender, Chriss, Jackson as McDonough top 10 picks that all share that trait.

Disagree. Ayton is plenty skilled, as is Porter. Bagley is a little rawer but he isn't unskilled imo. Really only Bamba fits that mold imo.

Ugh, I’ve been saying it for a while now, you can’t build through the draft unless you have a solid system in place where those (mostly one year out of high school) youngsters can excel. But this is exactly what so many here wanted. Play those youngsters!

We need to make a good trade. You build a team through draft, trade, and FA. It has to be a good balance and it isn’t an easy thing to do.

We need a solid coach with a proven system. Until we have that, the youngsters will struggle unless they can shoot great, then they can somewhat get along on their shot alone.

Last time even i dont have time to watch Suns games (and good for me!) and every **** morning (Poland) after Suns game night i check stats with hope for good line from at least one of our last high picks.. but NO! **** random players like Mike James or Troy Daniels make career highs and our young future all-star.. no words to say what i feel. They are totally ****. All. Jackson too.

Today producivity: 68 min/9pts/8rb/1as/1bl/1st on 2/16... IS IT A **** JOKE?

sorry for heavy words, but you understand..

I think we need coach, who be able to win over to heads youngsters..

Since Booker has gone down... Triano's offense has been exposed.

The offense is still assuming the PG is Steve Nash.

Everyone looks awful because they're trying to create shots from bad spots.

Yes players have been playing below par....

But does not excuse POOR strategy and lack of good plays from the coach.

Suns could get 2 stars added and they'll still be looking like crap because the system or lack of system is very obvious.

Jackson has been shooting dumb shots lately and it's worse with Booker out because now those shots are more under pressure.

But again... This is his first season. Booker had 1/10 shooting nights in his first 2 seasons too.

What I'm worried about the most is Bender.

Let's be honest here.... We all can picture Bender being happy with his efforts and contribution for the next 5 years.... He looks like someone who's just happy to be in the NBA and gladly sit on the bench..... No fire in him. I can't see any fire or urgency from him... He's young but... You'd think he'll show more fire. Right now he is playing worse than Leuer did for the Suns.

Bender doesnt take initative never. He has great passing skills, but even doesnt reach 1apg per 20 min. Scoring? Only 3 pointers..
On the one side he has some fundamental skills like defensive abilities and passing skills to be effective and using player, even when no score, but.. but i dont know - he is awful in most of games..
