After seeing who the Cavs are trotting out at starting pg(Calderon), I'm starting to feel better about MCW.
The Charlotte Hornets will win their first round series against the Boston Celtics in the 2021 Playoffs

There's so much I could say about MCW as a Sixers fan that had to endure his ineptitude for a couple of seasons, but he's been okay for the Hornets under the exception of lowered expectations

Monk literally struggled to bring the ball up against pressure. I don't know how you can say MCW has struggled like Monk.

I can remember one turnover in the backcourt this season for Monk. His problem has been decision making in the half court, especially at PG, and defense in general.

there was about a 3 minute period where Dunn was draped on Monk and he could hardly get the ball past half court. I think there was only one turn over attributed to monk and another missed passed trying to get the ball back to him, but he had to get bailed out on traps and caught in the air which was also wrecking the offense. It was ugly.

That was the game I was referring to. He was having trouble that game.

Gonna be difficult for Lamb to play with this offensive clutz of a hyphenated name throwing up airballed layups and defenses daring him to shoot 3s knowing it'll likely clank off the side of the backboard.

What is MCW's shooting % at the rim?

I can't think of another player who misses as many bunnies as this guy does.

He’s only converting on 23.7% of his drives to the rim. For comparison sake Kemba is making 53.1% of his drives to the rim.

I honestly thought it would be lower than 23.7%

MCW's shooting splits are completely hilarious. 9-21 at the rim (higher than expected, two of those are dunks which means he's actually made at least 7 layups this season), 3-21 from 3-10 feet, 1-12 from 10-16 feet, 2-7 from 16-23, and then 5-15 from three.

More depressing stats: 2-2 on dunks, 11-46 on jump shots, 7-28 on layups. How in the hell is that even possible!!!???!!!

He's also 2-29 on shot attempts in the final 6 minutes of any quarter, which is **** strange.

We've seen some really really bad offensive players come through here but I have NEVER seen anything quite like MCW. It's just bizarre.

I was so happy when my Sixers were able to flip him for a top-5 protected 1st rounder

I ran into MCW at South Park Mall today and it took every ounce of will power I've got to not say the words "missed layup" and keep walking.

Side note: I swear I only randomly run into the Bobcats/Hornet players I hate. My list is now Ben Gordon, Tyrus Thomas, Michael-Carter-Williams
