That and OKC's 2nd unit. Freaking Patterson and Felton.

High pressure comes with high expectations. Not surprised they lost. Thunder can rely on much better defense and rebounding in case shots aren't falling.

Steven Adams really killed us tonight. We don't have anyone who can stop him.

We need a guy like Faried on the team. We give up so many offensive boards.

Due to time difference I'm just watching now.

We started well - can only assume we drop away and begin missing shots after the first 6-8 mins, which is disappointing because we were getting good looks early and hit a few big shots too.

Disappointing but ultimately just one game.

Myles just has some of that Al Horford in him. He is really good at a lot of things, but rebounding just isn't one of them.

What a stinker. Adams was owning the paint? Play Turner and Domas TOGETHER for 35-38 minutes. They are young and healthy, can handle that.It was a must win game, instead Pacers folded.
Ok, maybe some lessons will be learned, onto the next one.

Everyone hit on the rebounds. Adams has always killed us. Any big physical center does. I thought our ball movement was not near as good as it has been during the winning streak. Lot more ISO ball last night. Not sure why we got away from putting Melo in the P&R. That was a $$ matchup. Regroup and come out and take care of business on Friday. A chance to get 5 out of 6 on this homestand against some pretty solid teams. I definitely would have taken 5-1 before the homestand started.

Thunder fan here.
Pacers looking very promising! Vic is playing out of his mind this season which i am happy but also a lil bitter about.
Sabonis was a foul call magnet all last year too but he will soon learn what he can and cant get away with. Hes going to be an awesome big for you guys.
Pacers look like a 1 defensive big away from really challenging for the top of the east. Turner needs to play the 4 as he gets bullied by the big 5s of the league.

He can't get away with anything, not even good defense.

I've never seen a player in my life more hated by the refs. Some of the calls against him are just completely bizarre.

(I'm not saying he doesn't foul too much, just saying he gets called absolutely nothing a lot, all while getting hacked on the other end)

Yea he isnt a rookie anymore so the refs should be giving him the benefit of the doubt more often in the future.refs this year have been terrible across the board!
Hes playing with alot more confidence though. I have only watched around 10 Pacer games and hes looking alot more settled

Hey man thanks for checking in. If the Thunder can get bench production like they did the other night then they are going to go on a tear sometime soon. We have had the debate on Turner on here before. He is honestly a tweener in my opinion. He definitely gets bullied too much by the 5s, but he has a hard time checking the athletic stretch 4s that are becoming more and more prevalent in todays game. As bad as Melo has been playing.... he would abuse Myles if he had to check him all game.

Yea i think the new age 5s like the Turners and KATs who can shoot from the outside are useful but rebounding and defending will always be more influential to a team win.
People get too caught up with box scores to see where the real problems are. Thad is a 3-4 and Turner is a 4-5. We all know Jefferson cant defend any type of PNR and Sabonis is still young. A Gotat or Adams or TT would be handy for you guys to do the dirty work.
Sabonis will be key for Indy in the next couple years. If he contnues his rate of development i will be sad to have seen him leave OKC.
