Back in the day, the entire team had to wear white or black sneakers. Red Auerbach made the Celtics wear white for a long time because he felt black sneakers made the team look slower. Eventually, he relented and they were allowed to wear black.

Just got me thinking looking at that mess on Kyrie's feet.
