I will make a poll of guys I think might make the most sense based on what we have. Lets assume they will all remain healthy. Post who you chose and why for discussion if you'd like.

In the poll, the 9th choice was tough, and there was a lack of point guards. I imagine if Fultz was healthy, and had not played with one arm to start, he would have been there. Ball doesn't really deserve it. Then I add Myles Turner and Drummond as options, but no way they are better options than the other centers. I guess some could consider Turner a potential PF. Without PFs, and Tatum being able to play there, I thought about him. Without Fox being able to shoot, I figured maybe DS Jr was a good choice...I had Tatum for the last spot but changed at the last minute.

Not too many results yet. I thought for sure I would take Simmons, Porzingis and Embiid to start, but thinking more, I thought it's hard to take those two bigs defensively because I don't know about covering 4's, and Davis is hard to pass up and figured he could guard 4's better than KP and although he doesn't shoot as well from deep, he can shoot from there. And then Simmons was hard to pass up as the PG, but then thinking about passing on Giannis in that role was tough, so I took him as the PG, figuring he would be much more effective defensively as well, and neither him or Simmons shoot well. It's a tough decision between some of those guys though. I see as the three votes, everyone took Giannis, and two took Simmons, and I'm not sure I'd want both of them (if I had to choose for primary distributors, given their shooting limitations.

Surprised I was the only one of the 3 to pick Embiid though, given his skills on both sides of the ball for a center.

Kyrie? He's 25... man I wish we would've got him. Anyway, I guess I would add players that would compliment Booker, mainly guys he is comfortable around and will trust. So I would value team chemistry over anything else, even superior talented pieces like Simmons/Embiid. I think the Thunder are proving this year that you can't just put talented pieces together and expect it to work.

Therefore, I would add KAT and D'lo. And then for the 3rd man I would choose the hometown stud rookie Marvin Bagley. That's a team with amazing potential that would stick together and put ego's aside, ala GSW.

Give me the length, defense, and all around games of Kristaps, Giannis and AD with Booker and it wouldn't matter if Daniels was starting with that group, it would be difficult to match up with them.

I almost put DLo on there and forgot about Kyrie. Adding those three would really leave us bad defensively though. I was trying to pick guys I did think would be a good fit chemistry wise. Giannis or Simmons because they do pass a lot.

But another thing OKC is proving is that just because there are three guys who are friends and may have played together some in the past, doesn't mean they do fit chemistry-wise.

Initially I'd choose The Freak, The Brow and The Unicorn.

But that sounds like characters from the uncut version of "Sinmates;" and in-depth look at the Aryan Brotherhood's gay prison population. Or, a misfit cast of philosophical vegan Bikers who terrorize the San Roque District of Santa Barbara with long, excessive and irrelevant dialogue in a gluten free; spaghetti western fashion.

either way I blame Quentin, San or Tarantino!

The only problem I have, is we are in desperate need of a Point Guard, I almost feel, for the sake of chemistry and in the pursuit of that ever elusive NBA Trophy, I need to remove one of my bigs for Ben Simmons. It won't be the Freak. Do I want to keep my stretch 4 and lose defense and rebounds? Or do I keep more of a traditional big to secure defense and boards, while losing some stretch and perhaps deviating slightly from where the game is evolving to?

The Freak, Ben Simmons and either the Unicorn or the Brow....hmmm. Tough One!

Yeah I was thinking about the defense thing too, plus not enough to go around to feed all those guys either. But I feel like if these players these days are all going to plan to play together anyway, then might as well do it for them.

If going by just pure talent alone then I would go with Simmons, Embiid, and someone like a Steven Adams to play D. Now that I think about it, Adams is really the perfect compliment to Westbrook. Well done OKC.
