In reference to the e-mails obtained from the Trump transition team part of the quote from the Mueller team is that it is a Criminal Investigation.

How so?

Edit: just looked it up. transition team emails are public documents in most cases. but some are still be considered private. some could be protected by executive privilege.
I am under the impression that these are transition era emails? When everyone was a private citizen?

some of those emails were in possession of the guiliani law firm, no? which was hired by the trump transition team if not rump himself?

As an aside: if there is ever a search and seizure at your house...and you have a sealed box...even a simple card board gift box from macy's...sealed and taped shut...and you clearly label that box..."for lawyer on all sides"...law enforcement can not seize and open that box without an additional court order...and basically no judge on the planet will allow access to that box...and certainly not the supreme court if it needs to go that high in some money banana republic district court. Private Emails in the possession of your lawyer certainly work the same, no?

I dont see how these email's would be different if they are indeed from the transition team and earlier(before they entered public office and therefore their emails are not the property of the US government). Now once these individual enter public office its a bit harder to keep records sealed. they would have to go to the extent of sealing these emails (and directives) like the Obama has done. most of which are sealed for 5 years from the day he left office and in the Obama library.

I thought we already established that you don't know what you're talking about.

here's the weird thing.

1. Mueller can only access the transition team emails of president elect trump. NOT the emails of "candidate trump" and Those assigned specifically to the transition. (manaforte aside who apparently may have committed other crimes which led to a search warrant for manaforte).
2. So. emails from Nov 9th 2am until january 20th.
3. What on earth can be so damning in there? Trump and his team are allowed and in fact encouraged to begin "planning" the entire administration. All we are going to find here is perhaps some more "lying to the FBI" about completely legal activity.
4. The election is over at this point. so what can be in there? some verbal high fives? "Thanks for helping me win, Vladimir?"
5. Trump and his family are political rookies so they are certainly going to be embarrassed if anything is leaked but really? I dont see anything explosive coming out of this.
6. So all this amounts to is more political theatre of the absurd meant to undermine an election. we are now almost 13 months out from the election.

Thats said, Trump looked shook today. His political capital has almost been effectively wiped out from nothing more than a main stream media smear campaign combined with a a deep state, career bureaucrats also working to undermine the election.

I simply cant believe that trump did not realize he needed to clean house at the top of every single intelligence agency.

I understood this as a 20 year old. The top position are by political appointment and those appointees promote their own like minded agents to work just below them at the top.

In short, Strzok is not an anomaly nor is he an abnormality. He is the norm. that is what you have at the top of all these agencies: Partisan cops solely looking out for their own self interests If you didn't appoint that agent then you are not his or her friend. How or why trump did NOT see this is baffling because he is not as stupid as many here like to think he is.

I would add that both R's and D's in the senate have been extremely slow at approving Trumps nominees so as to minimize his complete control over these executive branch agencies. The only guy, Sessions, has been a dud as an attorney general in terms of protecting Trump (compared to Lynch for Obama). Which again speaks to trumps poor choice for an attorney General.

I still cant believe how much trump has still been able to accomplish with both legs tied together and one arm behind his back.

I would have loved to read this thread in 2008 if Bush's outgoing team treated Obama with the same disregard for the results of the election and combined with the entire main stream media and a Mccain loyal deep state went about to undermine the election and discredit obama at every step. Drew up articles of impeachment as early as 2009. Seriously, i wonder how this board would feel about that. Because I personally would have been ready to burn washington DC to the ground in 2009 if that would have happened to Obama. The man won the election. He deserved a chance to govern.

But alas, Obama fell lock step in with the washington DC establishment bureaucrats and had "cover" under the Clinton political machine umbrella. the deal was done. HRC and uranium one. then HRC to be the next president. Obama had the super majority brief enough to get his appointees pushed through the senate quickly. Globalism for the win!! an 8 year recession for the win! China for the win! mexico for the win! Terrorism for the win!! Central banking cartel for the win!!! Housing bubble for the win! massive transfer of wealth from the middle class to the top 1% for the win!! double the debt from 10 trillion to 20 trillion for the win!!! 6 trillion of which was foolishly spent on a economic recovery stimulus package that did nothing!! 10 and 11% unemployment rates for the win!!!

But let's obstruct the guy that is implementing policies that are putting people back to work, has the credit markets flush with cash, and the stock market souring.

I'm hoping trump is secretly running is his own deep cover deep state investigation on the entire washington DC establishment...and i'm pretty damn sure he is. expose them all.
