ODELL BECKHAM

Post#1 » by Dloading99 » Sat Dec 16, 2017 4:52 am

Do we want this guy.

I'm all for him. and I say we trade for him.

I've seen it all in this organization Jerry Rice John Taylor Terrell Owens. and then who's it been after Terrell???????

Let's think about this Niners. is their anyone in free agency who we can sign who will bring what Odell Will Bring.

Look what Kyle did with Julio? could you imagine what he would do with Odell?

I want that Excitement to come back to San Francisco. remember Montana to Rice Young to Rice touchdown 49ers!!!!!!!!!!

or how about OWENS OWENS OWENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We need a big time receiver with Jimmy G and now Jimmy G to Odell give jimmy G his number one receiver and size your rings up. WE already have built our defense Foster Thomas Buckner Armstead Witherspoon. it's time to get some offense sign some defensive free agents.

Pay Odell and Jimmy G and we are good. I'm just saying there are no impact Odell Beckhams in this draft. draft Saqouon Barkley or trade the number four pick to New York for Odell Beckham. and draft a Ronald Jones in the third round from USC. what do you yall think?????????

Hell to the yes. Anything but the #4 / #3 pick is on the table, IMO (including Jimmy).

The problem with him is he has the mental stability of a manic depressive. Dude needs therapy and some meds imo.

Which is the only reason the VaGiants would ever even consider trading him in the first place.

Niners need to hit triple 7's on a gamble or 2 if they want to sniff a SB. Safe choices will result in Mariucci-like results at the very best.

Yep totally agree. with Garopolo and the way this team looks you got make moves like this. This reminds me of Randy Moss before he got to the Patriots. with Garopolo and Hyde I think this would make of a very good offense. perfect place for him. he could be who he is. gives us a great playmaker and that's what we need. we've really been lacking this since TO was here.

If you trade away JG, then ODB won't be as valuable without a competent QB.

But he's due for a huge contract, talking about wanting to be the highest paid player, not just WR.

That could mean $15 million a year, 4-5 years.

They have the cap space for a contract like that but would they want to pay a WR that much?

If Jimmy's traded, they'd better draft Rosen. If not, it's Jimmy or bust IMO.

But I'd be for getting ODB regardless of who the QB is because the Niners need to hit some trade / FA home runs to get into SB contention. Like I've been saying: safe moves will get you an Andy-Dalton-like experience. Gotta make some gambles until the team is in contention.

Unless the Browns and the Giants get hot, I don't think the 49ers will have a shot at drafting Rosen.

They'd have to make a trade.

I think there are a few WRs that are prime trade targets this offseason. I doubt it would even cost a 2nd round pick for them also because most, like OBJ, are almost up for a huge new contract which teams would have to factor in.

OBJ
Amari Cooper
Demaryius Thomas
TY Hilton
AJ Green

Those 5 names I think could be had for the right price, although I doubt any team would go so far as to put them on the trade block.

- Demaryius Thomas or AJ Green could easily be added to a draft day trade if their respective teams fall in love with a QB.
- TY or Amari could probably be had by offering a combo of picks and players. Both teams have serious issues all over the field and could look to maximize the value of these guys. Arik Armstead+3rd?
- OBJ has more baggage/contractual issues, but if the FO is comfortable with it, i'd offer the Saint's 2nd.

Hilarious.

I think Odell Beckham can be acquired if we want him. Niners fans look at it like this. the New GM for the Giants is probably going to want to change that whole team. the first thing would probably trading Odell Beckham. this just reminds me of when we trade Terrell Owens he was a superstar and I think The New Front office just doesn't want to pay Odell and we can come in with all of our draft picks this is why we made that trade with Chicago and we got some great picks. if you look at it like this we have a 2nd pick and a 1st pick where this team is at I would trade for it. Look when you can get a guy like Beckham with a guy like Goropollo that is Montana to rice I'm telling you. and you put that with the defense and Carlos Hyde and we got something great here guys. really great. look at where Seattle is look we can make a super bowl run.

Now to the defense. enough is enough we have built this Solomon Thomas Armek Armstead Deforest Buckner Lynch Ruben Foster Eric Reid Will Witherspoon we are set we've built the front end and the back end. I think drafting a guy like Iman Marshall out of USC who is a big physical Corner and we have all the makings of a new Seattle Seahawks. look at those teams Wilson Goropollo we'll have better recievers and our defense is looking great. I'm pumped where this team is at.

But if we can't do a blockbuster trade like Beckham I'm thinking we can pick up a guy like Deshawn Jackson who's still explosive and will be available after I think the buccaneers release him. you put him down the field we are looking nice there.

Niners already have a younger, more explosive Desean Jackson. They need a true, #1 receiver (not just another speedy #2), an OL and a dangerous TE to get the offense back to the top 5 in the league IMO.

Odell Beckham - WR - Giants

Odell Beckham said he wants to sign a long-term contract with the Giants so he can "get it over with."

"I really want to do it so I can move past it," said Beckham at Saturday's NFL Honors show. "I need to know where I can start buying furniture for a house. I want to have a place set where I know, 'OK, this is home. I can always go back to home.'" Beckham's will net $8.4 million from his fifth-year option but obviously wants the security of a long-term deal. While maturity issues have dogged Beckham for much of his Giants tenure, there's no way the G-Men can let a player of OBJ's immense talent hit the market next offseason.

Lots of talk on the boards and on ESPN radio about the VaGiants trying to trade ODB. Imagine Jimmy throwing to him, Goodwin & Garcon.

Niners definitely have the cap space to give him a long-term deal.

I'd love to see it which means I wont get to see it, nothing I ever want happens. I can't see them trading for him.

They tried for Allen Robinson. He was gonna cost around the same amount (a little less than ODB).

Unlike Baalke, Lynch has at least shown he's willing to go for the big names when there's a need.

But alas, you're probably right.

Damn, the Rams really going for it.

Well they are going to have to fill up that big new expensive stadium they're building. They were charging $75 for parking at the old Coliseum so what are they going to charge in Inglewood?
