I think targeting the problems in the US is key (and good). But the (implied) blanket statement that we are a third-world country just isn't the case.

And to pick Denmark as an example (your pick) vs. Venezuela (my pick) just proves the point. Denmark is clearly a democracy, Venezuela clearly is not. And Denmark is not a so called "socialist state". The Danish government is a combination of liberal and conservative. Denmark does have some aspects of its system that are socialist free school system, free medical care, income support and unemployment benefits. But, it isn't a socialist country.

A more accurate statement would be: "there are parts of the US that have some of the symptoms of a third-world country".

So, careful with the blanket statements - they may get you a Trump on the other side (Castro for example).

Here is exactly what I said emphasis on the bolded:

And somehow it's liberals that are divisive. these to morons claim that socialism will turn the US into a third world country while the fact is the US already lags behind the developed world in a lot of factors and some parts are already like a third world country. This is just blatant misinformation and programming.

I'm very careful with my words and there's no way you can interpret what I wrote as a blanket statement.

When people speak of socialism it's in reference to countries like Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Canada etc. We know this is true because no one ever says hey let's be a socialist country like Venezuela. So there's no point bringing up those examples because they are completely irrelevant to the conversation. The problem is that the term socialism is so perverted and misrepresented in the US that it's become a dirty word. Denmark may not consider themselves socialist but I'm sure they'd be fine with the Democratic Socialism label and would scoff at any comparisons to the US system.

Sorry - misinterpreted your meaning then.

The problem is - there is no, let's be a socialist country like Denmark - it isn't. Just skyped a few of my friends from Denmark - it is anecdotal - but none of them feel they are in a socialist country. And they laughed when I told them that others are citing Demark as the better government. One of my friends said, "you haven't seen racism until you come to Denmark".

Don’t worry team Trump. Our resident conspiracy expert SD20 is on the case. I’m sure he knows more than Meuller and some of the best legal minds in the government. Dentist, real estate mogul, playboy model collector and now he can add legal genius to his resume.

:D :D

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

Even white evangelists turn against each other because of the "Orange Plague"

Christian outrage crashed down on Hatmaker. There were soon angry commenters and finger-wagging bloggers. She says people in her little town of Buda, Texas, just south of Austin, pulled her children aside and said terrible things about her and her husband. She was afraid to be in public, and she wasn’t sleeping or eating well. “The way people spoke about us, it was as if I had never loved Jesus a day in my life,”

That guy may be broadcasting news out of his mother's basement, but he still managed to nab Morticia Addams' makeup artist. Nicely done.

You seem to love talking about and referencing the "Clinton cartel".

Can you explain what the Trump cartel is about?

clearly. and the public should know this one. I'm guessing it was NE senator. but it could have easily been a working class GOP whose seat is safe doing the dirty work for the NY, CT, RI, senators...or just directly for the wealthy special interest investment bankers.

Hmmm, I wonder...
Steven Mnuchin, the Treasury secretary, is a former hedge fund manager, as is John Paulson, who helped guide Mr. Trump during the campaign. Mr. Schwarzman is a friend of Mr. Trump’s who has advised him on economic issues. Wilbur L. Ross, the Commerce secretary, is a billionaire, who founded his own private-equity firm.
