Back to back Bill Walton (UCLA)

Others: Bill Russell (SFU), George Kaftan (Holly Cross), Clyde Lovellette (Kansas), Sidney Wicks (UCLA), Ed Pinckey (Villanova), Pervis Ellison (Louisville) and Tony Delk (Kentucky)
There's only one statistics that's important: who won...Bill Russell

Kyrie, Shaq, Olowokandi, Walton, Pervis Ellison, Sihugo Green...none of them...3 times we traded 1st overall pick (1950. Share for Bill Sharman, 1980. Carroll for Parish & McHale, 2017. Fultz for Tatum and Dončić :) )

Feel like Reggie Lewis should be 2nd team and Ray or rondo only 3rd

for first-team all-NBA, you got 7 out of 8. The one you got wrong, Cowens, only made second-team all-NBA, even in the year he won MVP!

for the second team all-NBA your got 5 out of 8, plus one of them belongs with the first-teamers. Cowens goes here and that gives you six out of 8. Rondo and Allen do not belong in either.

We had nine first teamers, there was little known center Ed Sadowski, in 1947/48 season and Ed Macauley...and of course Cousy, Sharman, Russell, Havlicek, Bird, McHale and Garnett

And as a second teamers, we had : Heinsohn, S. Jones, Cowens, White, Archibald, Parish, Pierce and Thomas

Ed Sadowki? Wow. Tip of the hat to you, sir.

Pervis is the answer to every question!

By consecutive I meant Pinckney and Pervis

I'm stat freak. Thru the years i was collecting Celtics stats, trivia, fun facts and a lot of this is still in my head...i was making for fun alot of Celtics lists...as all C's All-American in NCAA...all Olympic champs...i read and own every book on Celtics history, when i wrote to Croatian basketball magazine i did life storys on Auerbach, KC, Russell, Cousy, Heinsohn, Havlicek, Cowens, DJ, Tiny, Bird, McHale, Walton, Parish, Truth, KG...
I downloaded Celtics Media guide every year...in 2016 edition i find 7 mistakes and e-mailed it to Mr. Twiss on Celtics who thanked me
I'm more then 4100 miles from Boston, but C's fan for more then 30 years and if i'm in some kind of Celtics quiz, i would definitly kick some ass :)
You guys are so lucky to be able to watch C's live...for me the trip to Boston to C's game would probably cost me 3 monthly salary...and as i have three little children and with the state of Croatian economy that trip will remain the dream...And when C's games are on TV, like today...its in 2AM...so i can watch game from 2AM to 4.30AM...and then go to work from 7AM to 3PM...
Its hard life for us international Celtics fans...

1. Bill Russell
2. Dave Cowens
3. Larry Bird
4. Bob Cousy

What is the question?

I just learned something weird -- two different Ohio State University basketball All-Americans got the nickname "Hondo". Who was the other one?

Yes, this is a very obscure question. I would never have guessed the answer. Davor probably has never even heard of the guy.

What is the question?

Who are the only 4 Celtics to win the MVP award, listed by position, starting at the 5 and ending at the 1?

Actually, the ordering was meant to be how early in their respective careers they first won the award. :)

I think Hondo was a John Wayne movie so the answer must be someone old and long forgotten.

Greg Oden?

I believe that both Hondos, Cornbread and Chief all got their nicknames the same way -- they were said to look like the respective movie characters.

Hint: The other Hondo hit 382 home runs during his major league career and topped 40 three times.
