Stephenson on gut-wrenching loss to Celtics: 'We're going to take it out on Atlanta'

The Indiana Pacers blew it Monday. They hope to make amends Wednesday night against the Atlanta Hawks.

"We're going to make up for it, we're going to take it out on Atlanta," said Lance Stephenson, speaking inside the Pacers' gloomy locker room after a gut-wrenching loss to the Boston Celtics.

Stephenson's proclamation provides the Hawks with some bulletin board material.

...the Pacers' job is to turn the page and focus on Wednesday night's game in Atlanta. The Hawks (7-30) have the worst record in the NBA, but there are no guarantees. Atlanta beat the Miami Heat, 110-104, on Monday night in Atlanta, so if the Pacers don't get over Monday's loss quickly, they could have another difficult night.

how the Pacers respond Wednesday in Atlanta will reveal a little more about how they bounce back from adversity, something they have done successfully all season.

Pacers 111
Hawks 103

Back to the lottery wagon tonight. Let's play tough and together with ball movement and player unselfishness...the lack of talent won't allow us to win this game...too much Oladipo who is having a crazy breakout year.

Some Pacers fans are calling Oladipo the best thing since Reggie Miller...not sure if it's true or they are really really mad at PG13.

GO HAWKS!!!!!

Ps Look for a double double for Collins with 3 swats.

:nonono:

Be careful here, Hawks. We only have a 1\2 game dividing us and the Dallas boys. With a win tonight,
we could end up off the bottom of the NBA. But, Dallas has a game also. Who knows what might be.

Coming here, with fire in their eyes, taking out their hurt feelings about their loss, hoping to destroy
the lowly Atlanta Hawks. Really? We didn't do it. It's not our fault that you got beat.

Quietly, our team has been riding our tank into the sunset. In life's lesson, we have learned that, finding
an old hound dog, sleeping quietly, you leave him alone and let him sleep. Don't take out your anger
about something else by walking up to said hound dog and kicking him! While sitting in the emergency
room, having your dog bites cleaned and learning that you must now have shots against rabies, you must
ask yourself, "Why did I do that?"

Beware of this old hound dog, AKA, Atlanta Hawks. We've possibly been kicked at!

I honestly despise Lance Stephenson as a human being. Always have since finding out that he pushed his girlfriend down the stairs and then slamming her head. Dude is a garbage person.

:D

Relax, tanker fans. In the east, Bulls win again and they seem to have give up as they pull away, leaving us.
Then, just to make things lovely, Dallas top the Pistons in a blow out game!

Hawks are now sitting here, all by ourselves. In fact, if they really wanted to, it would be OK if they decided
o win another game. After all, we're way down here, all by ourselves !!

Many times we made Indiana look very good.
Overall, it was a solid win for them.
I believe I have reached my limit with DS and prefer us to go a different direction at point long-term.

Great night for the tank, with the Mavs, Bulls and Kings winning. The breathing room is needed as I expect us to beat the Mavs on Saturday.

For real. It seemed like him and Collins were having a dunk contest. Not saying miles won, but I will say that reverse dunk was both unexpected and impressive.

*sigh*

Guys ... I have something to say. This isn't easy for me but, here goes .... Oladipo is pretty dang good.

I've not been a fan of his, at all. In fact, I've called him LOLadipo since his ORL days. Starting now, I will do it no more.

Dude is the best 2g in the EC. Better than Beal imho. He should be the ASG starter if he keeps this up.

This is big for me since I'm never wrong about a player. 8-)

Anyways, I'll take my crow blackened with white rice, garcon.

I was right there with you until the whole "best 2g in the EC" part. Better than Beal? derozen? Idk I am going to have to think on that one for a bit.

But I too thought he was a flash in the pan guy who was going to wash out since his rookie year. I just didn't see the potential there, but maybe that says more about me. Really taking advantage of his,new surroundings and opportunities.

Good on him. I'll take my crow with some hot sauce, please. Well done.
