Wow that ending is ugly. Tough situation for Bender with no one else open, but Monroe just isn't going to be able to get up and secure high lob passes like that lol. Really liked what I saw from Bender tonight though, despite not shooting well. He attacked off the dribble much more than usual and his defense was huge, especially defending the pick and roll towards the end of the game. I'm confident that his shot will fall, so it's nice to see him trying to do more on offense while playing his usual good defense.

Yeah, I'd like to see that. If so, that's obviously very bad.

Bender needs to be more aggressive and then we'll finally see his true talent, JJ is no bust I just think he needs time. You can clearly see he'll be a great defensive and I have no doubt he'll be a great 2 way player in the future BUT Chriss is the real BUST

I am ok with that. McD’s draft picks are panning out. Len is really looking good lately, Bender and TJ are fine. Of course Booker is a home run. If Chriss is a bust, well, you swing for the fences and miss sometimes.

I think the plan in a relatively weak draft was always to have one of the two guys pan out. If Bender turns out to be NBA starter material and Chriss fades into obscurity by year 4, then I'll consider it a successful draft.

Just watched the replay. He was not mad, just had his usual emotionless face. Congratulated the guys on the floor like everybody else.

I think I saw the same one..thought I may have missed something before I looked up but it was showing him walking up emotionless and giving Daniels a five.

Give me Moose over Len any day.

Good win after last night's awful effort.

I wish the coach would make James the starter and have Canaan sub for him. Useless needs to go get some growth hormones.

I am anxious to see Canaan with both Booker and Daniels on the wing.

Len
Bender
Daniels
Booker
Canaan

Could be fun to watch.

Triano needs to bench # 0 and start Monroe or JD at the 4

Sarcasm. Did you see bender freaking out after the strip for the win?! I JJ, kid is relentless. I really do think Chriss isnt going pan out though.

Hahaha....1 last chance....take the win Grizz! Nope! Clank!

That one doesn't feel too good. I wish Bender would have made his 3 then at least he would have hit the game winner.

Ugh, it's almost depressing, if it weren't just basketball. Feels like we're not even apart of the nba, but rather on the scummy outskirts of the league, pressing our proverbial noses against the glass. looking at all the real games being played by the 1st class teams of the nba, while we are relegated to steerage.

He was far better than I expected last year and helped a bit. This year has been a huge disappointment but hopefully without being coddled it will get through to him that he's got to focus, work hard, and get better.

I don't have a ton of confidence it will happen, but it's up to him, and he is clearly disappointed he is not playing well and not getting minutes so hopefully that leads to working hard. He's got almost 50 games and an offseason.

I don't think he has much trade value, so I think attempting to trade him is pointless. I think what they should do is start Bender and Len, and Canaan, and with Booker back that will really open up the offense. With Reed and Daniels in the second unit, with a good passing C like Monroe, it would open up things for Chriss and Jackson. The defense would suffer here, but hopefully with Reed and Jackson, it would at least keep the opposing wings in check somewhat.

If they are going to cut someone to keep Canaan, it will be interesting who that will be, but I won't be surprised if it's James.

There's a lot of soft shooters who are stars these days, that would have been just soft shooters 20 years ago....but I digress....Ulis is just too small. Bad team backup.

Guy so short needs to be crazy athletic and strong to play in the NBA. He won't get taller but he can gain muscles. Also needs to become good shooter. Otherwise he won't be nothing more than 3rd PG on the team.

Ummm...no...

https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/m/monrogr01/gamelog/2018

https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/l/lenal01/gamelog/2018/

Len has a game where he has as many Blks as Monroe's given us in 13 GP for us total.

Len's "Magic Number" is 26...26 MPG and we are assured of a Dbl-Dbl from him. All games he's bested 26 minutes, he's had a monster game.

It's like Triano is picking names out of a hat with the Centers as to who is starting/playing that night.

We need to keep Len, because Monroe is not going to stay cheap. Len likely will not stay at all, but if he does, he will be cheaper than Monroe.

But aside from all of that is the fact that we need a defensive presence in the middle, and Len gives us that. Monroe?? Not so much.
