Cavs are the best team in the East...Celtics and Raptors can be tied for 2nd/3rd it doesn't really matter. I don't know why people care so much when in the playoffs Lebron will own both teams unless some miracle happens.

Of course not. I was on the Raptors bandwagon 1 or 2 seasons ago despite being told by Toronto fans that they would wilt in the playoffs. Then they got destroyed by Cleveland. It embarrassed me.

Boston is much better. Obviously LeBron's team is superior, too. Maybe Toronto is third.

the cavs are 36-5 against east in playoffs since lebron came back. I don't think raptors fans even thought they could beat cavs in a 7 game series. maybe regular season they said they had chance but playoffs painfully clear cavs better and Celtics got destroyed in Ecf too lol

they have the best player of all time .

Same. I want to finally see it happen, hopefully with Hayward able to play limited minutes off the bench or something if rehab goes amazingly.

No one ever seems to talk about that though, probably because the Celtics play in America.

Well, yeah lol. People were legit saying the Celtics "had fight" because they won Game 3 when LeBron was sick  . The year before when the Raptors tied the series 2-2 people were still hating, on the Raptors for being lucky and LeBron for letting it happen.

As I always say, you take this EXACT same Raptors team but them in Knicks jerseys, and the NBA would be sucking them off.

not really sure why anyone would prefer the celtics to the raps.

DD/Kyle vs Kyrie/Al seems like a pretty even matchup of stars.

Ibaka/Val/OG v Tatum/Morris/Brown seems a pretty even matchup of other starters.

but then the raps' bench kinda demolishes the celts' bench.

Because the Celts are the #1 team in the East even though they've been missing one of their stars in Hayward all year. And because people won't believe in DeRozan & Lowry in the playoffs until they prove otherwise.

And I don't blame anybody with that logic. 4 straight years derozan and lowry have not performed like there regular season selfs in playoffs

They gotta perform like this in playoffs

I'm more concerned for the Celts when it comes to Hayward and how well he is going to recover. They are looking long term not just this year.

Yeah, it's interesting how that works. I do believe the ECF was an easier series for us (despite going 5 games) than the semifinals vs. the Raps.

The funny part about it is - I'd say the EC teams that gave the Cavs the hardest run were the ones people didn't get hyped about. 2014-15 it was the Bulls in the semifinals (I legit thought we might lose that series), I'll give 2015-16 to the Raps because it went 6 games, but I was actually more worried during the Pistons series in the 1st round. And then with 2016-17, the Pacers series in the 1st round was scariest for me.

Agreed. The one EC series in the past few years I legitimately thought we could lose was against the Bulls in 2015. When Rose hit that shot against us to go up 2-1, I was terrified of it. And I think the Pacers and Pistons played us the toughest in 2016 and 2017. Even though they were sweeps, all those games went down to the wire, and the Cavs were giving solid effort, too.
