Eh, if we lose this b2b, I'm on the tank bandwagon. Team is desperate for a winning streak right now. Vs Bos and at GSW on deck after the B2B. Could easily go 0-4 and kill any hope this season.
The Charlotte Hornets will win their first round series against the Boston Celtics in the 2021 Playoffs

i took small positions in batum, kemba, and lamb in my draftkings lineups to appease the gods

Well well well. No change in the line up. I guess all is fine.

It looks like MKG is on limited minutes - Lamb replaced him after 5 mn. He was doing fine on Middleton, can't say the same for Batum since he switched on him.
Sharing baskets for now, but Buck's defense manage to look more horrible than Hornets. It's like they can't defend any backdoor.

Third game in a row where Marvin is not really great in defense. Albeit today he has a tough assignement.
On the other hand, MKG is hornet's defense all by himself in 1st 1/4. Looks everywhere.

MCW sabotages a great feed from Kaminsky. But 'only' -5 so far with a very experimental bench (mcw - monk- lamb - marvin - Frank)

Meh first quarter...kinda feels like the the Bucks can break it open at any point though, especially against our bench.

Hope I'm wrong.

Also, did Dwight hurt his hand somehow? Looks like he was sent to the locker room about halfway through the 1st. Would be the final blow to our chances this season...

I have NEVER seen anything like what's happening with MCW right now.
Humble yourself.

Marvin hit him on a finger. He did not look* that hurt though.

1st shooting foul for Batum since forever. He would be 100% agressive on both ends, he would pile rebounds and score in the 30pts range the way bucks forwards defend...
In a game like this, small ball would be really, really good (hopefully Howard does not play in 2nd half).

His and Marc’s hands clashed when going for a rebound.

Kinda looks like Howard’s knuckle, middle finger right hand, got a little jacked up.

Hard to believe but Hornets dominate in the paint without Howard.

Kemba with two fouls. Attitude is cool for now. It might be the first game (well.. 1st half) where Hornets are more physical than their opponents. Minus Bledsoe who is giving fits to Kemba.

Decent 1st half. Good ball movement (no surprise) even though it has probably more to do with Buck's defense than with Howard being on the bench. But it's more fun to watch honnestly.

Hopefully MKG won't get his third foul early. He is really great so far. Best hornet with Kemba.

He's truly one of the most underrated guys in the game. Kyrie and Lillard get all the attention but Kemba is right on their level. Wall gets a ton of attention and he's not nearly as good as the three mentioned above

MKG sits, Lamb in, -7...

I can't imagine how this team would look like with a good 2 way sg to pair with Kemba & MKG

Well. When i was saying MKG was Hornet's defense all by himself... He won't be far from a triple double or even a 5x5 tonight. nm no steals so far.
