The only confirmed lie we've gotten in this situation came from Fultz's camp. His agent blatantly lied about getting fluid drained from his shoulder. Then moonwalked from that statement and switched up his story and said he just got cortisone put in.

Could you imagine, as a doctor, that a CEO of a company lied about your diagnosis for the general public to consume? Running the risk of a misdiagnosis and putting your entire reputation on the line? Yea, neither can I.

As oppose to what? Making up a diagnosis to try keep a random NBA player from looking bad? I was told this diagnosis of "scapular muscle imbalance" is completely fabricated and it's 100% mental what he's dealing with. So could you imagine, as a doctor, the CEO of a company lied about your diagnosis for the general public to consume. Running the risk of a misdiagnosis and putting your entire reputation on the line? Yea, neither can I

I come here for sixers discussion. I hate watching incompetent **** on the court and right noe thats all there is on the court for the sixers unfortunately

No need to tell me how bad my life must be and how I need a break lol. My life is **** great if my biggest problem is the sixers, which luckily enough for me is the case right now, then Im fine with that!

I disagree with some of the things you say Krazy but that's OK.
I haven't been posting here long enough to know your back story but what you say in your post above makes complete sense.
I have seen on other Sixer message boards like LB where if you simply disagree with everyone's consensus (which on some sites is driven by the editors of the sites), your attacked first for your alternate views, and then if people can't get a rise out of you any other way, you get attacked personally(RE: "you must have never watched a game in your life or "your too stupid to understand that"....because..."blah blah blah") .

Sometimes, it doesn't matter how well thought out your opinion/opposition is written. In some instances, people with alternate views on a player/a team whatever will get banned for their viewpoint, SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY DISAGREE with whatever the group think is on a topic.

Now if someone is abusive and cursing at people, I totally get it. But other than that, disagreements happen. Not everyone sees things the same way, and alternative views should be encouraged as long as their respectful towards other posters personally.
My experience here at Real GM has been positive and this seems pretty laid back overall, but for some reason you seem to rile people up. Not sure why, but then again I have not been around that long. I just know this place would be boring AF if everyone just agreed with each other 24/7.

Didn't hear it from me. Never called him a mental midget, your favorite buzz word.

I'm sure he screwed up his shoulder changing his shot. Should be easy enough to revert back, right? Any day now we'll get footage of that shot..... AAAAAANY day now.

This is not good. He should be soaking up everything he can. I personally think he is not hurt and they are hiding him because he has the yips. Hope I'm wrong but it been 2 months....come on man.

I don't think he's hurt and I don't think he has the "yips". He was an already bad Free throw shooter, who changed his Free throw motion and didn't look impressive as a player overall, through the preseason. Now they have to decide how bring him back looking presentable, because they're embarrassed.

Just let him play if he's a bust he's a bust. It happens.

What your saying is certainly a possibility. I tend to think differently but honestly your viewpoint is not that far fetched and a lot of people have said similar things. Until he steps on the court and proves otherwise all the talk about him having "yips", and being a bust(relative to his draft position), etc. will continue. No one will know...until everyone knows.

I would never be an “ I told you so” person, because I’m usually wrong about 90% of the time. But dude, I really hope your wrong concerning Fultz. Like really wrong.

If you’re right, they better not play games, get the best FA they can this summer, or those three years of tanking will have been for nothing and I’ll tell the world “ I told you so”, haha.

I know you don’t have an agenda and that you are a fan of the team. I just wish your posts were more ridiculous like mine were about Hinkie, that way no one really takes you seriously. The fact you get so many riled up on your Fultz take, is what has me concerned about him.

The issue here is not just if he will be good, the issue is, will he be good enough to justify what we did to acquire the 1st pick?

Agreed. Little back story if you will or insight into things Ive noticed. I go to message boards for my favorite nfl team and my college team as well. Couple things hold true across every single fan message board.

1. You got the guys like me who use the forum of discussion to voice what the hell is wrong with the team, how to fix, who or what is the issue etc. Now, with my teams, unfortunately they have all sucked for a while, so theres a lot more wrong than right going on

2. You got guys who in a corporate world would be company Yes men.. they will do whatever it takes to make the team or company free from blame. In their eyes, every loss or every struggling player or coach is doing their best and just on a tempkrary rough patch. Blaming the team in any way means you arent a real fan, have no idea what you are talking about, and eventually leads to the personal insults that get thrown at me such as you must be miserable since you are always negative.

3. Then you got the moderators who most fall into the 2nd option and will look to punish you after a while. The sixers board is pretty decent with most mods but I have had my fair share of discipline or threats from a few.

Like, if our team sucks and keeps losing due to the same issues I see, of course its gona sound like Im harping on the same thing over n over because I AM vecause the team is losing. After our 0-3 start when we started playing awesome, I was ecstatic with praise with this team and its players. The one thing that stayed the same for me criticism wise was against our idiot coach, specifically for not using any PnR

Agree with those that say this mental midget needs to just be thrown out there since hes healthy and learn to play thru the struggles like rookies of all other 29 teams

We are not some special rookie whisperer team.. put his ass out there

I wish silver would step in and start fining this org left n right

We did put him out there. Then he went to his agent and got him to publicly shame the organization into giving him time off. What does the team do now? They have to maintain a positive relationship with the investment so they can't throw him under the bus anymore. We're basically at the mercy of his confidence and comfort.

Why? Our record isn't going to affect the pick that they could get this season by him missing games and ultimately his development won't be affected by missing 35 or so.

Assuming a theory is true and theorizing based on the assumption that it is is why this thread gets so derailed. Nobody is proving or disproving any of it so it just becomes about whoever or whichever contingent is the most vocal about it - then the thread becomes primarily about that - which I suppose may be the point.
