I'm sure in typical Thunder fashion (2017-2018 Thunder fashion) we'll ruin the feel goods of FINALLY getting over .500 by losing at home to the 7-24, Dennis Schroder-less Hawks which means their roster for tonight's game is actually worse than the one that's gotten them to that awful 7-24 record.

Wouldn't be surprised if Ilyasova shows Presti why it was stupid to trade him for Grant by going for 22 and 12 while hitting 3 or 4 triples.

Why can't we consistently move the ball and cut throughout the game like we did on that 1st possession? Why is that such a difficult concept to instill into the team's offensive philosophy?

Welp, if the Hawks shoot the three like this all night, they might just pull off the upset. Already 3/4 from three.

This Hawks lineup...yuck. With Schroder out, who's even their best player?

Bazemore? Belinelli? Prince?

If we lose to this team, a 7-24 team without their best player, I'm going to wake up tomorrow morning severely hungover.

I bought my annual Christmas pick-sixes today. I get a $50 limit to buy pick-sixes every year around Christmas (I'm almost strictly a beer guy), so I've got 18 8%-%12 beers; they're mostly imperial stouts and IPAs. I've also got a little Jameson to mix in if needed. I'm hoping to not need the Jameson until the Christmas day game, though.

At the Peake, playing a 7-24 team without their best player, and we're tied at 28 through one quarter. How we let the Dennis Schroder-less Hawks score 28 points in one quarter is beyond me.

Losing to the Schroder-less Hawks at home would be worse than losing to the Nets in Mexico or the Porzingis-less Knicks on the road.

simple play that encapsulates our offensive philosophy: felton gets control of defensive rebound, walks ball up court, takes high screen from adams, and attempts a 27-foot pull up three with 14 seconds left on the clock and nobody in offensive rebounding position. that's what- a 45% eFG shot for him? at best? that's a bad shot for anyone on this team who isn't paul george. but in donovan-westbrook fantasy world every open shot attempt is a good shot attempt. the team leaders do not seem to operate or select shots based on anything resembling an understanding of the expected value of the shot.

PG 2/4 from the FT line the last few possessions. We're up 8 but could have a double digit lead.

That first PG shot that was ruled a two was clearly a three. I need to see a replay of the second one to see if the two-point ruling was correct or not. Surely they'll review it and it'll be overturned.

At least one of those George long jumpers was a three, not a two, so our lead is at least 12 if not 13.

How did the refs miss two straight threes and rule them twos?

Since I haven't been able to watch we're outscoring teams by an average of over 10 points per quarter
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Well, if you had left it for 10-15 minutes, you'd've come back to a series of posts from me complaining about how we were up by 15, looked like we were going to put away this hapless team like we should, only to let them go on a run to make it a competitive game.
At least that looks like where we're headed right now. That 15 point lead has all of a sudden been cut in half.

And Stranger Things is awesome. I still haven't watched the second season, though. Is it as good as the first?
