(Spoiler for third book below)

Spoiler:
That scene where he's reminiscing with Cassius after Cassius has been captured is an awesome scene. That's one of my favorite chapters in the series so far. Also, the ending from Cassius before he leaves..."Thank you...brother." I love how human Darrow is and how Cassius was able to respect Darrow in the end.

Spoiler:
Yeah I saw, remember some of us have been waiting a little longer...
Cassius was a solid character all the way through, it was the fated meeting between the two that you knew would end in tragedy for one side. I was always a Sevro man myself.
Edit: And Ragnar, loved that dude.
Jazz: Under reconstruction, we'll be back.

My stroke of insight — as an OT who works in a neuro setting..it’s been great to get insight of a stroke from a neuroscientist who’s taken 8 years to recover..the brain is tremendous

Honestly, kudos to you and everyone else who read it a while ago and have had to wait. I’m gonna reread them in between IronGold and the 5th one (Dark Ages? Forgot the name.)

Cassius and Sevro were both awesome.
Spoiler:
The entire scene when Cassius “killed” Sevro, I was thinking there was no way that was real. Then when Darrow stick him with the adrenaline thing... “You’re missing a **** hand! ... I’m going to kill you, Aja! I’m going to kill you in your **** face.” I picture a mad looking character with a spiked hand with spit coming out of his mouth going straight rabid. Ragnar was **** awesome. LOVE how everything he said was in bold, too. Reminds me of the giant from GOT.
There’s a comic series either out or coming out about the beginning of the Sons of Mars. Definitely gonna check it out.

I actually tweeted at Pierce Brown a few weeks back saying how I almost went to his panel at NYCC and he responded. Seems to interact with fans quite a bit and his IG videos make him seem down to earth, too. Gonna try to meet him at NYCC in 2018.

Spoiler:
Yeah Sevro and his entire Wolf pack and how they survived and eventually won in the first book made be a fan for life. The warfare and how brutal it actually got for the different houses was just a real page turner.

Good to hear Brown isn't a total douche with his fans, I never tried to reach out or even go to Comic Con.

ahh, unfortunately i haven't gotten to it because i've been reading Stephen King's IT because of the new movie - book is over a thousand pages, and the font is ridiculously small (my eyes are going).

also, unfortunately, red rising has taken a back seat behind Scott Adam's new book, Win Bigly. i've been a huge fan of Scott Adams since i was a kid. come to find out, he was good buddies with my dad, and they graduated high school together. i actually teach with his younger sister, also.

Me too! I was gonna get a signed copy from some store in England (Brown tweeted about it), but shipping is 13 euros. Book was only 18 euros.

I’m realllllllllllllly looking forward to Iron Gold. Hoping I forget I ordered it, so when the Amazon package comes it’s a surprise.

There’s a prequel Sons of Mars comic, also.
