Ghastly

At least Robes knows his limitations and stays in his lane.

Dinwiddie?

I think Brooklyn holds onto him (don't laugh...I picked him up in fantasy and he's been keeping me afloat in D'Angelo Russell's absence).

Okay but even still not sure how it’s not sustainable. 7 game series has rest, he’s the not the main guy, he can let it come to him in the flow and has. He can literally do this every night if simply shows up focused on the task at hand. That’s how easy the game comes and has been coming lately.

There's more to this than making shots tho. Grabbing boards, playing defense - he's not just asked to shoot.

For him that’s what it comes down to though. There’s been games in his career where he’s played great defense and rebounded well yet shot poor and the emphasis was on his poor shooting night or vice versa.

Now the past few games he’s been playing a complete game for the most part and waiting for his number to be called. This has helped him focus on other aspects by not carrying the scoring load or forcing his offense which is why I think it’s sustainable.

He also looks like he’s finally got his legs as this is usually around the time he starts getting hot.

He’s up and down. If he sticks to being more Olympic Melo, then I agree he can keep it up.

You and I both know it’s mental with him, he’s said and done the right things so far. If he keeps this mind set we both know what he’s capable of.

All I have to say about this game is that Amdre is an incredible defender and he was the best player on court. Thunder is lucky to be able to roll Robes and George on the perimeter D.

You must not have watched the game because Harden had 29 points and 14 assists. Not to mention he was airballing free throws and had to be taken out of the game because Houston started intentionally fouling him. That's "the best player on the court" to you?

29 points on 7-18 shooting, with 12 free throws. He's always going to get a lot of assists with Paul out because his usage is off the charts.

Some people have no concept of a defender's impact on the other team's scoreboard. Dre's job isn't to stop Harden, it's to disrupt Houston's offense.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

LOL! It's still 29 points and 14 assists. Harden averages 32 and 9. He surpassed his normal offensive output. If they're playing Roberson to be a defensive stopper (and obviously that's the only reason he plays because he's atrocious offensively) then that performance is a flat out failure. So what's your excuse for Roberson allowing Harden to score 37, 35 and 44 points in the 1st 3 games of their playoff series? What that incredible defense as well? LMAO

The post above yours explains it better than I could.

if you're going to judge a defensive effort on individual box scores when it comes to elite guys like Harden, you're going to be disappointed more than not.
