fake news. this was the flattest top seven since 2014. my recollection is that a plurality liked fultz, and plenty of gms liked one of the other top six players. there's only three or four reporters with access to nba gms. so i'm very curious about where this consensus opinion came from. commenters on realgm?
besides that, availability is a skill. its interesting that an analyst would ignore the fact that he's unavailable after hurting himself by himself. had he been injured like this before the draft, it would've been something to consider then. so its something to consider now. if he's physically or mentally fragile, then that negates any advantage he had over DSJ in my eyes (besides the long arms, lol).
rooting for fultz. not blind to what's happening though. maybe the 'analytics' experts can pull the numbers of all the players who missed half a season working out by themselves and see how they fare for the rest of their career.
The Sixers medical staff, in conjunction with surgeon Ben Kibler of the Shoulder Center at Kentucky in Lexington, “will gauge his readiness” to play in a game at the end of this week. This comes after the team announced in a statement on Dec. 9 that Fultz is no longer experiencing soreness in his right shoulder and the scapular muscle imbalance was resolved. Three weeks from that date is Saturday.

You typically don't even know how good a player is going to be until their 3rd year or so, it makes even less sense to judge a trade until everyone knows who has what, and we don't even know what the Celtics will get out of the pick we traded. We will likely keep the Lakers pick in 2018, and they'll likely get the pick in 2019. Knowing Ainge and his disastrous drafting track record, he'll draft another bust and that extra pick will amount to nothing.
And likewise the boost this forum needs. Will be great to actually discuss his play instead of tin foil hat conspiracy theories.Kobblehead wrote:Fultz getting back on the court would be the boost this team desperate needs.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

Ainge made a better deal for the Celtics, with this idiot Colangelo, than Hinkie made with Vlade Divac.
That was part of my exchange with DBodner, Lloyd. He is going to die on the Fultz hill. There is not a GM alive today that would trade Fultz for Taytum + a lottery pick as it stands today.
Of course he's going to die on that hill. He's one of the draftexpress writers who pushed this Fultz nonsense onto the public.
