The Twolves last 10 games have included only two teams with a winning record (Portland & Denver) and they went 7-3 - including a win in Denver! This is a good test for the Nuggets, especially since they beat us last week.

In that game, Murray led the way with 30 points while Jokic had 22, Lyles had 15 with Craig having 10 - no one else was in double figures.

Appears this is as close to a mid-season must win game as there is. MIN is two games ahead plus a win on our home court, payback and establish we're a playoff contender. Need Barton to score in this game, his contributions on that end have been minimal. Perhaps having Mudiay back to play the backup PG will free him up a bit. Is Jokic going to be suspended for the ejection last night ??

I think Jokic might have a big game tonight, might be his redeem game after those 10 to's against Minnesota last time they played .

I'd love to see him take 20 shots and just wear out Towns (hard to do, but ...). If he'll take & make lots of shots, he'll find assists will just naturally happen. On defense, he tends to try to help a little too often in my opinion, but I'm not sure that's bad - except when playing a mobile guy like Towns, so I'm hoping he stays closer to Towns tonight. Of course rebounds is just hard work and this game will require a lot of work on both ends. But yeah, I'm hoping he's ready for it.

Have you watched Gibson play Jokic? The word is out, Jokic gets frustrated when you play physical with him and Gibson is the master of that. Jokic's been rather ineffective (for him). It seems Gibson is winning that battle. Plus there have been multiple easy scores by Minnesota when Jokic is hedging away from his man or when Jokic or Plumlee ends up on a small. If you watch Minnesota, they find a way to make a secondary switch and/or the Nuggets aren't taking advantage of the mis-matches - like with 5 minutes left, Jokic had Butler down low and he passed the ball out to the 3pt line. These are things the Nuggets need to learn in order to win.

Minnesota brought in Gibson, Teague, plus Butler. The Nuggets brought in Millsap. Our veterans just don't match up well with theirs. It's been an enjoyable game, but not really a well played game. Jokic & Harris need to get more shots IMO. Would have loved to see Craig on Butler some more.

Now we go into overtime. Teague seems to be out and Towns fouled out. Chandler is the only Nugget with 4 fouls. Murray, Harris, & Jokic are the only Nuggets with a lot of minutes. Looking favorable.

We must win this OT now when KAT and Teague are out.

What in the world were they trying to do on that last sequence? They looked like they were trying to run out the clock. The Wolves weren't going to let them take a 3 and they weren't running any picks to get someone open.

Can't they just stop trying to feature Murray as a closer, he's not that good at it . Jokic should have been involved more in the paint in the OT , bad game plan cost Denver this winnable game at the end.

We should win this... also, many of fouls called vs Butler in OT is ridiculous.

But we should be happy and proud... our team finally started to play 100% seriously on Road winning in Portland and Oakland for the first time in 3-4 years, and almost beat Minnesota after -19 deficit.

Not the best night for Harris and Jokic, but at least Jokic once again gets his minutes, Lyles also.

Didn't get watch this one, in-laws are in town. However, looking at the box, seems if you touched Butler it was a foul....pathetic !

Jokic was solid, he could have been better , but he had some good plays, got Gibson out in the OT, too bad Denver didn't use size advantage in the paint to close the game. I don't like Jokic playing with Plamlee , they had moderate success lately with them sharing the floor, but it takes away from Jokic's game, its too crowded, I think Layles should start with Jokic.

Nuggets got some favorable calls down the stretch as well....Hard to win without a closer if you aren’t moving and passing every possession. Get home and rest up boys.

22-9-4 in 41 minutes translated to 29 minutes which is Jokic average last season, or this season before last week, is about 15-6-3 (bad for Jokic standard)... and that is why he should always to get at least 33+ minutes, which will make him 20-10-5 player on regular basis, and time without him on floor for Denver will be limited from about 20min to under 15, so everything would be easier. Even when he underperforming, like today, if he gets enough minutes, it is still good production (like today).

Talking about Plumlee, I don't like to see him playing today whole match, and half of the yesterday match with an injured finger, while Faried not playing any single minute (even Arthur played 5 tonight). Or there is something behind the scenes about Faried.
