OK, it's over. Pelicans just aren't a good matchup and they had it going on the perimeter. Staukus looked wet late, but mostly, wasn't a strong game for the team.

Stauskas a great shooter. Levert had an excellent game. Acy shooting well today! They fought hard!

Game flow today. Game out of hand, bench went on a mini run, on a back to back... no need to put him back in.

Rondo replaced his assists on my fantasy team ironically.

He's got to stay on the floor somehow. He didn't really injure himself on contact plays, so idk. If he can do some of what Rondo is doing, some of it, then that's a plus.

meh. Rondo is a probe and pounder type (which Russell also tends to do which is why i want him to be play primarily SG). I think Lin should be all about 3 and D imo. he's got the tools.

I can't see Lin being a consistent 3 point shooter. He likes to dish and get guys good shots.

Lin is going to be Lin. He's going to take charges on guys like Cousins, he's going to be physical. That's just his mentality. I just hope he does it strategically and gets lucky and stays on the floor. But he has to drive less going forward.

That's the only way he's going to continue to play in this league off the bench.

The assist-hunt is real lol

But Doyle flashed some greatness on that one drive. Didn't get the finish but the drive was impressive. Couldn't hit any shots really either, but I see some potential.

But is he like Archie Goodwin? Or a different type of player.

Lol idk if I'd say Archie but his slashing layup pack looks legit. Did you see the euro floater towards the end? He might have some legit 4th quarter attack and get a bucket potential down the line. He has to hit 3's respectably to unlock that but... 1 for 3 ain't bad... I like him. With good health the 1-3 spots look real good for the future. I got my eye on Doyle

Have to see a lot more. Archie looked good in a lot of games. Yogi too, but Yogi was small. I welcome guys that can get to the rim.

Have you watched Milton Doyle play? and I don't mean just tonight. I mean G-League and Summer.

You probably don't even know what Doyle is capable of.

This is Archie Goodwin

He's on the Hornets. And the Hornets need shooting and don't believe he's NBA ready.

This is Milton Dolye. The Brooklyn Nets released Yakube Ouattara who was seen as a euro poor man's D-Wade just to keep his rights.

Here's what Doyle did tonight

point is he's going to be a better player than Yogi and Archie.

Doyle is 6'4. Doyle is athletic. He's a hot streak shooter and his handles are sick. Jamal Crawford-esque.

Oh and his athleticism

You really need to relax about a guy who's 24 with 17 minutes of experience

Tracking Players performance against Pelicans 27 Dec 2017

Stauskas - 41 (+++)
Acy - 40 (+++)
CLV - 40 (+++)
RHJ - 35 (+)
Harris - 10 (=)
Doyle - 9 (-)
Mozgov - 8 (-)
Dinwiddie - 7 (--)
Crabbe - 6 (--)
Allen - 6 (-)
DMC - 3 (--)
Zeller - (-3) (---)

Bench players played much better than starters (only starter holding out was RHJ).
Stability is a myth perpetuated by the agents called homeostasis and status quo....

It is a shame if that remains since stauskus is the better player and better prospect. to this point the nets had always played the guys who deserved to play or guys they needed to develop. crabbe is the first guy where the money may dictate playing time. marks is tied to him if he doesnt succeed.

But staukus is better... better on ball, better off ball, much higher ceiling

yeah if Doyle can give us what Archie brought plus the better offensive game I'm all for it. Archie wasn't bad at all imo, his jumper is what holds him back talent wise.
