When is Reed coming back? Last I heard they were talking about a December return.

Hopefully sooner rather than later. I'm incredibly excited for him to start playing. He seems like the type of guy who takes pride in his defense to the point he'll call out the guys that aren't playing any. If he can hit the 3 at a decent rate he'll stick around.

His return is now needed more than ever with Booker out.

Sweet. Hopefully he gets some nice burn with the NAZ Suns and then comes up to play here at the end of the season...

I don't think it will take him that long to get PT with the Suns. The real question in my mind is who gets bumped from the rotation. Ulis? Daniels? Jackson? That order is my preference.

I guess he'll stay all year in the g-league.

I imagine they will ease him into action in the G-league for a couple of weeks but if he looks completely right physically and he shoots like he's capable of I think he'll be up and in the rotation sooner than people think. I'm extremely high on Reed and what he might bring to this team long term.

Daniels is the guy I would assume loses his spot. He's shot the ball well but really that's all he can do. Reed has the potential to shoot just as well from 3 and give you a little more balanced O and be a much better defender than Daniels. Shooting is such a necessary skill set in todays NBA they might be able to move Daniels at the deadline. Which would be cool since they actually got a 2nd rounder for taking him. If not I'm perfectly fine just keeping him around at the end of the bench.

He was silky smooth when watching him live in Vegas for Summer League. He's one of those players it seems that has a high basketball IQ.

I think Reed will get Danuel House's minutes (12.7 mpg)

I think he was only getting minutes because Booker was out.

This team needs Daniels’ shooting in the worst way.

I think Reed can be a solid shooter in time, but he’s not at Daniels’ level yet who is probably one of the better 3 point shooters in the nba.

You can’t bench Jackson because he needs to play too obviously.

Keep Reed in the G-League playing 30 mpg until the last few weeks or month of the year where maybe we can start resting Daniels and Reed can take his spot.

Davon Reed is an excellent shooter. He is a career 40% three point shooter. He is also very smart, a very good defender, and is 6-6 with a 7 foot wingspan and great strength. Honestly, the person he should be pushing is Josh Jackson.

Reed is not as fast as JJ, but is longer and smarter.

I think they might do a rotation thing like the Centers, or just play him if Daniels is off his game. There are some nights where he is cold, and who knows let's see what Reed brings beyond just shooting the three, his defense was solid in the summer league and maybe he has some off the ball potential as well.

Also are we sure he is 22? He looks like a 30 year old

I know who Davon Reed is...

I said he can be a solid shooter in time, which is true. Can we at least let him hit 1 NBA 3 before we crown him an excellent shooter?

Hopefully he becomes Wesley Matthews 2.0 in the future which I think he can be, but if the objective is to win games, and this early in the season it still is, I’m keeping Daniels in there.

No, Davon Reed is who we thought he was. If we wanna crown him, then we can crown his ass! Don't need to wait.

Not sure that is necessary since he has an entire four year college career as a resume. Not meaning to denigrate Daniels at all, though.
