Re: New Jersey?
Nike must be letting their interns make the uniform designs and one intern forgot to turn his in, so not wanting to be late, did something within 5 minutes on Photoshop and said... ehhh, good enough. The design managers saw it and said.... wow this is perfect, you're hired, and this is the product of that.

Okay that really does save them for me too. Also the font looks a lot better than it did originally.

Is that because it says Booker on it?

Re: New Jersey?
While I like the idea of the constellation on the back... what the hell does it have to do with our city, state or team? Nothing, as far as I can tell. Should have gone with the sunburst or something actually representing the city of Phoenix. The all purple seems to be shoving it in the face of those that wanted a little more purple incorporated into the uniforms, logos and court. I
'm not against "Los Suns", but I think it could have been used differently. Adding "Los" in front of the team name is not really honoring/paying tribute to the Latino community. It seems more like an insult to just toss "Los" in front of something and say, "Hey, it's in Spanish now!" (I'm not Latino, though, so I'd be curious what some Latino fans honestly think of it).
Lastly, why not use our old Western font on the jersey? I think it would have looked amazing to have the Western font reading "SUNS" or "PHOENIX" and a large sunburst streaking across the front. Would have been a nice way to represent our team's legacy in the city of Phoenix, Arizona. This is just a huge missed opportunity to really put something special out there.

Good point about sticking "Los" in front of it doesn't make it spanish. I mean maybe if they put Los Soles or something. Or just "Soles" with a sunburst.

If they wanted to pay tribute to Latino culture, they could have made a much more interesting design. Imagine something inspired by Día de Muertos or even Lucha Libre. Lots of cool things they could have done with the uniform to better get the message across. When I think of Latino culture, I think of vibrant colors and unique art, not solid purple and "Los". I'm surprised more people aren't speaking out about that element alone.

Re: New Jersey?
Eh.... they're OK. Purple/white/orange/black has so much potential and we still haven't really seen a newer looking jersey with it.
Those cream Bucks jerseys on the other hand..... WOW.

It is joke.

Re: New Jersey?
The back makes them go from horrible to mediocre in my eyes. I have no idea what the Phoenix constellation actually has to do with Phoenix though, and the 'Los Suns' rings pretty hollow when it's just a throw-in to make it usable for The City edition. There are a million directions they could have gone, just off the top of my head we could have used the "Phoenix" logo we have, the obvious Sunburst that everyone and their mother wants, state colors... really anything would have been better than the Phoenix constellation. Still a big disappointment.

Lol i know. I probably should have done the title "New Unis" or something. Haven't really thought this title would confuse people while I was opening the thread. After I opened the thread it was too late

The only way to redeem the Los Suns jersey at this point is to use it as a stepping stone to integrating stars into our jersey design.
Because Suns are stars and all.

You can always edit your posts, subjects of posts and if the post is the first in a thread, it changes the thread title.

Re: 2017/2018 Jerseys
Very mediocre jerseys. If it wasn't for the Phoenix constellation on the back, they would have nothing to do with The City of Phoenix. However, there is a bright side:
